I asked a former Big Truck driver tonight how important dispatchers are ..............

He said......

You know all those trailers that you see stacked on top of each other going by on trains?

Those are the trailers that used to belong to drivers who pissed off their dispatchers!

But, on a more positive note,
the Big truck truck drivers got railroaded too.
And from there, they'll most likely catch a
Slow Boat To China.

But they might have to do a job no
Chinese citizen wants to do, --- just until
they get their foot in the door.
After that, I reckon they could survive on the
Chinese Socialist Services provided there.

The ones who should pay
attention wont know that
they are the ones who

Sure. Just make sure the load you just picked up in New York gets to California in 24 hours because your dispatcher says "It's hot".

If my dispatcher asked for something like that, I'd give them a reality check. If that didn't work, I'd go over their head to safety.

99% of dispatchers are just trying to do their job, like I am. I do everything I can safely and legally to make them look good. It pays off in miles and getting home when I want.
