r & L carrier

avoid r & L carrier try to send me out state over on my gross weight they try to make legal by removing 1 pallet still over on weight still try to send me out told me don't worry you burn the fuel only because other driver told them that, when I ask how much the pallet weigh the terminal supervisor told me get #### out of here don't come back ever show your face around here again

1 This was main terminal manager that told me to #### off 2 the load was load nobody wanted to take 3 yeah me against him you know who going win that one. he did call and apologize and said he was wrong and unprofessional but to my boss not meps I been driving for over 13 year for several company going complaining to safety officer or another supervisor doesn"t always work

Perhaps, but not at R&L. I am familiar with them and they are a large company. Their safety dep't is easy to talk to but they do not tolerate lawbreakers, and they will back a driver the situation you had.

weighed it three time 560 the first 590 second time 265 third time, took a pallet of don't know how much the pallet weighed guy didn't care he just wanted it out of there as long I was 100 pound over that was ok with them they still wouldn't make it legal. going to albany or

I knew a guy who worked at R&L for a few months. They wanted him to have a pallet jack, and two wheeler, which they said he was required to have, but expected the driver to buy.

Also,since it was near winter in Northern Indiana, they wanted everyone to have matching "R&L" winter jackets. Again, at the drivers expense.
