We worked for Go Trans/Trux Max in May only to discover they keep 30% of the fuel surcharge, thier direct deposit is your paycheck Fed-Exed to your bank with a $15.00 charge, your maintenaince acct is deducted # $100.00 per week, there is a $1500.00 esrow deducted # $100.00 per week that you will not get back without a 30 day hand written notice that you quit and what they tell you the loaded miles are...you can add 50 to 100 miles to that not to mention a few other crap details. Any way we gave them thier written notice as required, but didn't run for them...waited our 30 days and called to find out what our pay was and when we could expect it. They said "you have a check for $1739. and one for $536." My husband said "Great when can we expect that?" They said "Get in line we filed bankruptsy" and hung up on him. We made some phone calls and discovered they filed bankruptsy in February 2008 and were not supposed to be leasing any trucks on. If thier are any other O/O that was stung by this company...plse respond. We have another driver that was stung and would like get a siut going...Plse don't lease on with them!!!!! They even lost our title to our truck:biggrin_25510:

First of all I know your pain but they have me even worse than you.
    My story goes as follows.
I started off as a company driver. Then shortly after my year was up I purchased one of their trucks from them (BIG MISTAKE). I was almost done with my contract when they had my truck repossessed because they didnot make the payments that I was making to them. Then they gave me another truck. And kept charging as if I still had the same truck including me paying for over $6000 of repairs.
Now that my contract is done, truck should be mine I am receiving threats, insults being cussed at because I won't return the truck. Correct me if I am wrong here but if the contract is completed don't they owe me a truck?
They also dont want to return my plate bond $1700, performance bond $1500 or maintance account $600.
I also know the phone numbers of one or 2 others that worked for them and when they quit the were never paid either.
GO FIGURE! why are they still in biz?

Heres a excert from the RTO Contract and a email from one of the big bosses
Referencing the Rent to Own Contract I quote " If contractor continues to work with carrier for entire 104 week period"..."Carrier will transfer title to the truck to the Contractor." That is from page 2 paragraph 2 item 5 sentence 2. I have fulfilled all terms of both the ICA and the RTO and therefore entitled to the title.
response from trux max is "show me the contrace that shows the 2006 is paid for azzhole !" last word was changed 2nd and 3rd letter. Now how professional is this?
I am saving all their and my emails. Wish I had a tape recorder on the phone to record the death threats.

I would be verry careful they may be able to get you for Grand theft since you have not returned their property.

I said they may be able to get you but as long as you have the contract and your pay stubs or can supeona them showing all of the payments you should be fine.

The judge may look at them and say you got to be kidding me this guy upheld his bargian with you guy's now were the heck is his title.

The at the end he may also say that he will launch a full investigation into how may people were taken by this out fit.

This is another good reason not to be leasing from the company that you get your work from.

Please do not take what I post as legal advice it is only my oppinion if you want true legal advice see a attorney.

I use a credit reporting company. When the salesman showed up we went on the computer so he could show me how to use it.

He had me put a company in that I knew to be good,,,,,,,,,,,,

Then he said " Want to see what a bad credit report looks like"

He used Go-Trans as an example.

Technically Go Trans does not exist anymore. They closed that chapter of their lives and now just go by Trux Max. Surprised they sent out a Go Trans e-mail because of that. You want another good laugh its their pay package. They will tell you that if you work for them during your first year in their employ you earn .40/mile. BUT then they take .10/mile and escrow it toward the down payment of your truck. My example was 139,710 paid miles. So I had a $13,971 down payment toward a rent to own truck. Now if you don't buy the truck you continue to earn .30/mile and you don't get that .10/mile back ever and you don't add it to your check after the year. To figure out the price of the paper seeing how I can't mention the website here they use. Any way they go to this website that also puts out a weekly truck paper. And do a search for year make and model. This website usually lists the more expensive ones first so they charge you top dollar for the truck. Then they also charge you 10% interest on the note also. Now currently their entire fleet is made up of old 2003 maverick trucks and 2006 columbias with detroit 60's 380 HP and 10 speed trannies. They had everything else repo'd.
They are broke (in bankruptcy) Go Trans since 8/2007 and as Trux Max since 2/2008 so they really are not doing any repairs to their vehicles more than required to keep them on the road. Look up "Go Trans Memphis, Tn Bankruptcy" and "Trux Max" Bankruptcy for a list of their major creditors. Huge and I do mean Huge $$$$ owed. And their safety rating also is a joke. Lots of OOS because of equipment. (you can look that up also). Then they fine you as the driver if you are put OOS. Not to mention make you pay any and all tickets.
I really do recommend anyone thinking of working for them to research this company before working for them. Everything I have said can be verified by matter of public record or a phone call and ask them about their pay package.
Also I been rying to find other's that have tried their RTO program to see if anyone has completed it or if everyone has been terminated prior to the completion of it. I don't know anyone who actually got their title.

Ok OK If you haven't heard they closed down as in OUT OF BUSINESS in 12/2008 ripping off remaining staff and drivers about 3 weeks of pay. Not only this but they filed Liquadation Bankruptcy for Go Trans and Trux Max only after ripping off E1 they could. This is a rumor and I cannot verify it but it is from the inside. (One of the family that got it too). Ron and Jay mortgaged and borrowed every penny they could against all their and company property. They sold most all assets and then filed BANKRUPTCY hiding all their money in trusts and other peoples names slick of them.
Same source also said they are now a collections agency, wonder if I could put them in collections? Probably not. OH Well. By the way Scott is still suppose to work there answering and returning phone calls to the 877-255-059 number yes left off last digit. 2 lol. But my understanding is its selective call returning, Maybe if you called and said you owed them money and wanted to square account.

That's right and the name is Baxter and Bailey. Slick? Oh yeah, because they started BnB before the trucking companies ever fell apart and they knew better than to put it in their names.

    Business Contact and Profile

Name: Baxter, Bailey & Associates, Inc Phone: (866) 921-5873 Address: 1630 Goodman Rd E Ste 3, Southaven, MS 38671-9556 Principal: Stuart Anderson Customer Contact: Stuart Anderson - (866) 921-5873

See just how slick they are....Stuart is the guy that did nothing in the office, but they always kept him around. Guess we now know why.
