What are they lying about? What are your miles and pay like? Have you talked to your DM about any of the problems your currently having with them? The one thing you don't want to do is move around to much, because if companies see this they will not be inclined to take you on..

Unless you were already aware of the pitfalls of C.R. England and went with them anyway, calling you "stupid" wouldn't be called for.

Before we could provide you with our advice, I think we'd need more information from and about you and your expectations.
But first and above ALL else, my advice to you would be to avoid ALL lease programs from ANY company --- especially with your very limited experience. And, as you've probably already discovered, C.R. England's lease program is a disaster for MANY starry-eyed newBees.

IMO, what you need to do right now is RESEARCH the various threads here at The Truckers' Report to gain valuable information. There are many fine folks here who are anxious and willing to assist you in making a decision. But ultimately the decision is your's.

With the limited information you've provided it's difficult for any of us to recommend another trucking company --- but just about ANY of them would be better than C.R. England.

Also, it might help others thinking about going with C.R.E. if you'd post your experiences with them in the various threads pertaining to the treatment one can expect at C.R. England. If you can prevent even one person from making the same mistake you did I'm sure it would be appreciated.

Another one

Another unfortunate victim of C.Our. England Ad's spider web. Believe me, you're standing on the tip of very large iceberg. You're definitely not the first one to get sucked into that outfit. Far, far from it.

And even Overnite
I'm gettin' passed by ever' body in sight
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

No, my hometown's nowhere in sight
And if you think I'm pissed off
You're right
46 days on the road
And I'm not gettin' home tonight

Love pissing off those trucking company insiders.

I'd suggest that you start applying elsewhere, before you leave CRE. Or your DAC will not reflect well on you for your next job.

Like Shockey said, read here and you will find solutions. But you need to have another job all lined up, before you walk from CRE.

YuP!
That's what I'd suggest.
What EVER you do, don't make the powers that be C.R. England mad! Not only is C.R.E well known for ruining their lease drivers financially, but they're also well known for poisoning their DAC records for revenge and making it harder, if not impossible, to find another driving job with the better truckin' companies.

Although, I'd imagine most, if not all, of the better truckin' companies are well aware of C.R. England's shady tactics and, therefore, an explanation from those who have had their DAC records poisoned might be enough to make them aware that the bad report(s) weren't deserved and they'd overlook those reports and be willing to give them a chance to prove themselves to be worthy employees, I think it's better to avoid having to offer such explanations.

Just keep in mind that it's VERY important that you follow C.R.E.'s instructions on how they want you to return the Big truck and where they want it returned. Others who have returned their leased Big truck to a more convenient terminal have been charged with abandonment of equipment. That's a charge you DON'T want to appear on your DAC record.

As hard as it may be for you to do, suck it up and act NICE towards the powers that be C.R. England. Apologize to THEM for not making the grade. Don't anger them in ANY way. Act as though you blame yourself and ONLY yourself for not succeeding with their lease program. Don't let on how you REALLY feel, or you'll feel the pain of their wrath along with all the other pains you're feeling. Not a pretty picture.

As far as recommending which other truckin' company to apply with, that's hard for any of us to do, --- not knowing exactly what your needs and wants are. I'd venture to say that just about ANY other truckin' company is better then C.R.E. though.
Perhaps if you provide more details concerning what you want as well as what you'd accept in a truckin' company would assist us in assisting you find a better fit.

What I recommend you do is RESEARCH here at The Truckers' Report. Read what others have to say about the various other truckin' companies, both good and not so good, to help you decide. Just remember, not everyone is looking for the same thing in a driving job. What one driver likes might not be what another driver likes.

For instance, one driver might desire to see home every two weeks for two days off, while another driver might be like me --- wanting to stay out for a month or two, then take a bunch of days off in a row.
I wouldn't be happy staying out for only two weeks, while another driver would never consider staying out for months.

SOME drivers would want a truckin' company that spec's thier Big trucks with auto-shift transmissions, while I would consider that a bad point.

SOME drivers prefer that the company tell them which route they MUST take, while I wouldn't. SOME drivers prefer that the company do their thinking FOR them, and, as I'm sure you can imagine, I wouldn't fit in very well with a company like that. I consider part of what I'm paid to be for thinking, ..... which some companies frown on.
So, SOMEtimes "bad" is good, and "good" is bad. All depends.
Additionally, SOME drivers would complain about ANY truckin' company and probably wouldn't be satisfied ANYwhere, and wouldn't know the perfect truckin' company if they DID find it.

Keep an open mind while reading.
Occasionally you'll need to read betwixt the lines to get a better understanding. Sometimes you'll need to realize it's what they DIDN'T say that's more important than what they did say.
While SOME will go on and on and on, and never actually say ANYthing worthwhile.

Also, keep in mind that there ARE smaller truckin' companies out there that are a good fit. Personally, I prefer a smaller company. They might be harder to locate, but IMO it's well worth the extra effort.

Here's something you might consider ----
When looking for a job, we usually read the
HELP WANTED ads, right?
Well, how 'bout taking out an ad in the newspaper in the
SEEKING EMPLOYMENT section?

Truck driver seeking smaller trucking company for long term employment. Experienced in OTR driving. Excellent driving record. Hard worker. Self starter. Dependable. Trustworthy. Loads delivered and picked up safely and on time. Respects company equipment. Clean, neat, professional appearance. Willing to spend time with trainer if necessary. Pay negotiable.

Just a thought I think I thunk.

OH!
BTW --- I think you live in a beautiful part of California.
Almost Heaven.
I doubt you'd consider relocating, would you?

if I lived there, the only way I'd relocate is if I were moving north and west. But I'd do that in a hurry. Man, I hate Kalifornia.
