I just quit there myself, unbelieveable, I hired in #.36 cpm or so I thought, in orientation on the last day I was informed that my cpm was cut to .305 cpm. My truck was also in the shop more than on the road. I recieved more in break down pay for the wopping 2 weeks I was there than I recieved running. I liked the people in the office, but also realized that their hands were tied by the corp. office and couldnt really do anything to help anyone, and the shop and equipment are a joke.

what kind of cheese would you like with that whine

after 18 years on the road, and now after being off the road for the last 5 months, now getting ready to saddle back up.I searched or should I say researched several different companies.I went to every driver forum for every
company I looked into and not one,not even one forum had any good thing
to say about any company I looked at.This is sad. sounds like to me you people need to get a life and instead of trying to find everything or anything
that you can complain and b*@tch about try finding the good in the company
you work for and if you have to go all the way to the pres. to get a problem solved then do that.make the best of it because let me tell you ,as ashamed as I am about it,I probably hold the world record in the # of companies a driver has worked for.And I assure you no matter what their pay per mile is,
what the co. polices are, what the home time criteria may be,or whatever
your complaint may be THEY ARE ALL THE SAME.here have some swiss cheese with that whine.

The one thing I appreciate about this board
No matter how bad things get out there
Members at the TTR are out to help each other
Or at-least a sounding board for all the #### companies give out
Please don't demean this process

I was not demeaning the process but see for yourself start with any truckload carrier you can think of.google driver forum for that company and read through the threads.do this for about five companies and if you can find
one thread about one, just one company where every driver on there ain't
b*@tching about the company and complaining about something then I will rest my case.It is a fact .if I had to depend on these driver forums to decide on a company,I would starve to death because there is something wrong with all of them.this is not a perfect industry, and If you have been driving for any real length of time you know yourself what I said in my last comment is true as what I'm saying here is true. But I will say this, it is nice to have a place to vent your flustrations, even though it's not going to do any good.things have been this way when my grandfather drove, things have been this way when my father drove, and they sure haven't changed in the 18 years I have been driving.drivers can't even agree together on what time it is how can we organize anything to make any changes in the way these compaines treat and pay us.we are the reason they do us the way they do.because for every one of us that refuse to work for .30cpm
stay gone away from home 2-3 weeks at a time there are one hundred of us that will go to work for companies like that.good day and safe drivin' I'm
gone see ya.

Their main office is out of Tulsa, Ok. You should contact Ok state employment about getting your pay.
Anytime you are uncertain about something google it. You will be amazed over the information that is available in helping you with state laws.
No, they cannot legally hold your pay check.

I am thinking that maybe you should go to work for one of these companies.
The point of being allowed to even speak of what is going on with a company is a tremendous value to those who do not want to be taken advantage of.
When these companies start to go out of business because they can't find drivers to work for them, things will change.
The idea of trying to put down others for speaking up the truth is in poor taste. Shame on you!

Am I the only one that had to take two aspirin after reading these two posts? If you are thinking of starting another career, since you are obviously into bashing the trucking industry as well as the online forums that are being made available to us, may I suggest something that doesn't require typing or verbal skills. If your father and grandfather were in trucking and you didnt realize what they went through on a daily basis why the hell did you get involved with trucking in the first place? Sounds like a serious case of "career choice remorse" if you ask me. Goes to show you that the DMV should enforce spelling and punctuation tests before issuing a license to someone as well. I almost forgot...have a nice day!
