I am a driver for k&b now for the second time. I have nothing but good things to say about them. They treat me well, pay me well and also do what they say. Yeah sure they have their problems but, tell me, what company doesnt? Yes it is true they have a lot of drivers quit but, one thing you haven't read here yet is that about one of every 5 drivers being hired is a rehire. I quit 2 years ago after giving my notice. They routed me to the terminal and payed for my transport home. I think many of these drivers need to be honest more so than pissed and realize that they are only telling exagerated half truths here. I encourage you to tell the truth, or at least the whole story. And to the rest of you seeking employment.....seriously you think a driver complaint msg board or website like ripoff is the way to research? If that's your method of research then how do you ever expect to work again. Also any driver with a brain knows that you can't believe all you hear, especially from other drivers that have quit or been fired. It seems that you will get a biased negative opinion. Expand your search to include drivers that are happy with the company and the way they are treated. Then simply do your best to sort the fact from fiction and make an informed decision. That's all I have to say I guess. God bless.

I drove for K+B for one week in 2007. They had a high strung dispatcher who was very bossy, I told them to give me another dispatcher , they refused so i ran a trip back to dakota city. I left the rig on the yard. My paycheck was direct deposited, then immediately withdrawn by K+B. So they kept my first check. This is grand theft. Why is this not a felony when a company steals your paycheck? Anyhow i immediately started another job so I did not have time to sue.

Did you report it to the police? Your bank? That is the problem with direct deposit. When you signed up you agreed that they can withdraw money from your account. All they had to do is say you were overpaid. I would sue them if I were you.

Really? The company can just come in and take money from your account because you signed some form saying they could do this when you opt for direct deposit? Well that's news to me because I never signed any form like that and I guarantee I would never work for company that would make you sign something like that.

You might not remember it but you did. The form that is signed that you put your voided check with. Without a signature they can't deposit into your account. If you refuse to sign they most likely won't hire you since a lot of companies no longer issue paper checks.

Nope sorry never signed a form like that... I WOULD REMEMBER. I'd like to see them go in and take money out of my account... think I would just sit there and go "sure no problem?" Don't bet on it.

You love to argue don't you? Like I said I'd love to see them take money out of my account for no reason... just would love to see them try.

Not trying to argue but people need to know that a company can and will go back and take money out. Google direct deposit forms and you will see the little "clause" that is on it. Not saying they always have a legal right but they sure can if you sign up for it and you legally owe the money...over payments(which is what the company will claim even if it is BS).
