RUMBLE trucking

Now here is a company that doesn't care the least bit about anything! I was a driver for a few months pay checks are to small not enough miles talk to dispatch and they say sorry thats all I can find you. Ever run the State highways from Philly to Chicago?? You better get use to it cuz they don't pay the tolls in PA, OH, IN. "Drive straight thru" means drive past your 11 hours. Falsify your log book is common, hope they get caught on a DOT audit. I couldn't stand it had to quit.

Well for starters, they are called "Rumble" trucking!! How professional could they be? How professional are you to work for a hayseed outfit like that? Live and learn there Cletus and maybe try to take your game up a notch or two.

Rumble.... is the last name of the owner. Live and learn, hard to find a company that is honest to their drivers. I am a new driver ... school of hard knocks.

What do you mean, "they don't pay the tolls?" Are their transponders not working? Or do they have you pay for them out of pocket and then wait for them to reimburse you?

They made you run straight from Philly to Chicago?

There once was a long thread on here in which the lady in charge of Rumble came on here defending the claims made by a former driver's spouse. I don't know if that thread is still around or not, but if it is and you didn't read it you should now.

That thread is probably close to two years old now.

I did a search and did not find any other posts on RUMBLE. They have you pay for the tolls out of pocket... if they are approved tollways... you will see your money in 3 weeks. Oh they will give money for the tolls... on the comdata card as needed... its treated like a advance which is taken out of your check ASAP then when you fax in the paper work and toll receipts you are refunded... ok could be 3 to 4 weeks to see it. Run up and down the east coast at 174.00 a pop (From MD to NYC) and when your last pay check was 250.00 now you are to the point you can't buy a coffee and you are rolling your smokes. To get paid on a load depends on when you turn in your paper work its normally 3 weeks. I faxed my paper work in ASAP and still wonder WTF why so long?? I am all done with RUMBLE and still fighting them on Bungee's and 2 mud flaps that I had to buy. Which is BS. They had me give my bungees to another driver cuz he only had 10!! Next day I needed atleast 30 so Dispatch told me to buy some at 2.00 each and use the comcheck. Still after 4 weeks have not received the money!

YES! Philly to Chicago... straight thru on state roads through State College to I-80 and US 20 through OHIO, IND. oh and be there between 8 and 10 am the next day! If you are late you will miss your appointment and they won't unload you until the next day. I left the Philly Pier at 8 pm when my 10 hr. break was up. Then blew a radiator clamp, dumped all the water out on the highway, mobile mechanic was done by 1 am just outside Philly maybe 30 miles. I was in Chicago at 9am.... I did sleep 2 hours. Took me 17 hours total to get there, and I had trouble with the last slinky coil... which held me up many times too. Of course they will tell you... do not drive illegal or you get a long silence.... do what you think is right but be there by 8 to 10 am WTF... This happened more than once so I don't like my butt hanging in the air if I GET CAUGHT ITS ON ME and POSSIBLE JAIL!! I'M AM DONE!

No. This thread was from back in 2006. It's been deleted. I checked for it myself.

It was an interesting thread. Some lady who was either the person in charge, or the second in command came on the forum defending the company and the things being said by the wife of a driver who got screwed just like the originator of this thread. It was comical. I'm pretty sure the moderators ended up locking that thread as the Rumble exec decided to just make it a nonsense thread. I've heard lots and lots of stories from people like cdweb which completely contradict everything that woman said. I learned then and there to stay away from Rumble at all costs.
