Locknloaded, I do apologize for my last commit on the previous post I made. Yes Aftershock was right in his reply to it.

I see something else, but that really a different deal.

I do notice your training went incomplete. There is much more that you should have been taught. What to do in these problems where your not spending more than you make.

more bad news from werner

Just found out this morning that the poor excuses for human beings at werner decided they were going to keep my final paycheck. There reason is excessive out of route miles.

The Dept of Labor says your work falls under the Dept of Transportation Regulations. So my only option is civil suit. Even if I could afford to pursue this option it would be years before I got any satisfaction.

I can only imagine what werner has done to my DAC. No one has said yet that it is preventing me from obtaining a job.

I have several app's out. Most that have contacted me want a minimum of 6 mos experience before they can hire me. My dmv and criminal record are spotless. I have no felonies or misdemeanors ever. I have just under 40,000 miles behind the wheel. I did 18005 miles running team with Werner before I got my own truck. I did around 20,000 miles solo. I have been coast to coast. Through the great divides in the east and the west. I have not been in any accidents ever when I have been behind the wheel.

In short, I need a job asap. Within a very short period of time I will be homeless.

I would haul anything legal. I had a Hazmat endorsement when I origionally got my cdl-a in New Hampshire but let it go (couldn't afford the $100) when I switched to Florida.

CRST invited me to an orientation but I can't afford to buy meals the first week and a half with no income. I really didn't want to do team anyway. I am trying to get on with WSE and awaiting their return call.

Thanks for the support from those who have offered it.

Your kind words have given me hope that the whole industry is not this way.

What about Schneider. My reading points towards SNI, I"ve been reading here since May 08. I talked with a driver 2 days ago who said he makes about 750-850 a week, they get .39 cpm.

Good luck.

That is pathetic that they don't give you enough miles to make more than that.

Its possible to make twice that

Now that you have a little experience under your belt, why don't you try Knight? Or perhaps being in Florida try getting with one of those container outfits that I always see hauling containers up and down I-95?

Perhaps a produce hauling job? You have many options, friend. I hope everything works out.

I can see that you are between the rock and the hard place here. I do not think that the whole industry is the way you describe Werner, and I imagine that all of Werner is not as bad as what you went through. It sound like you caught a real crappy dispatcher.

I can tell you that all of the larger companies are tough to work for. They really don't give a darn about anything but getting the load there.

However, many smaller companies are more in tune with a driver's needs and desires. Little things, like making enough money to live on, etc.

I hope that things go better for you in the future.

Go to the USIS website and click on "Consumers" at the bottom. Print the DAC request form and send it to them. If there are bad things on there, file disputes.

I'm sorry to see you in such dire straits.

In the meantime, are there any other solutions you could find to earn some money?

Is your wife able to work?

What did you do in New Hampshire before you started driving?

The hard truth is that you shot yourself in the foot there. Most big carriers need you to have your hazmat. Scrape up the money and go get it.
