By your definition, anyone happy and satisfied either doesn't know that they're gettin' "screwed", or they're a butt-kisser or have splinters in the back of their head?
Hmmmmmmmm
So, even if YOU think you're not gettin' screwed, in reality, you really are?
How is it that you're so unique?

I rather be on the road than sitting at home making no money. I have goals, and I can not meet those goals sitting at the house. Already the industry is giving in to the weaklings and going to regional runs more than the long hauls and making it harder. I rather run 4200 miles long hauls and fell rested than run 2500 miles short haul and feel burned out. For I use to run from Atlanta to NJ twice a weeks and home on weekends, Home to sleep cause I was worn out from the 2500 miles I did. Made one run from Athens Ga, to Bismark ND, then over to Erie PA then back to Athens. When all said and done, 4200 miles, and I was ready to go again.

Plus the Short hauls are killers. It eats at you much faster. 4 years of wanting long hauls, moving Company to Company in search, but only being ran short hauls, I got so sick and worn out, I had to come off the road for a long period. I am not an over night express type of Driver. Unload and reload by day and run to deliver then next morning. Bull Hockey....

Greed is killing us. See what it done on Wall Street and now that greed going to cost us all. Greed in the trucking industry is costing us to. Wanting your cake and eat it too.

why do I like driving truck? Going to different places, seeing different sights, and no in the same place all the time. Why do I hate working a 9-5 job? Cause nothing for me here at home, and the walls are closing in on me here. Do I want to come home for 2 days a week? H*!! No.

Want to be home more? Get a local job, want to be paid by the hour? Get a non driving job or a specialty run type of job. But Do not screw me cause you do not like it. Sounds like the ACLU is around..... Screw the majority for the minority.
The current system works fine? There really seems to be no system. The companies tell you what to do and when to do it without regard to anything but what they want; which is many many cases unreasonable.

You can still do what you want the way you want. I'm just saying that there are people that have basic needs that need to be meet, like family, etc.

I have made my point in previous posts. I won't bore whom ever by going over it again. We"re not living in the 19th century.

Not so!

WhY not shut the Big trucks down and paralyze the nation?
That oughta get their attention.

I'd stock up on those forever stamps though.
And, as an added bonus, we'd be supporting the U.S. Postal Service.

With Big trucks not running, how will the mail get through?
Just think --- bad weather doesn't stop the mail, but Big truck truck drivers CAN.
OHHhhhh ....... can y'all just FEEL the POWER?

Have a nice trip.
I'll leave the light on for you.
You aren't bad your _ _ _.

What you know about, as it pertains to ground round, is in them hamburgers in that feed bag hanging off your computer. LOLOLOLOL

Have a good feed.

had to update, thanks for reminding me, haha now i live in Indianapolis, and yes i have been with werner for 'bout 3 years, not keeping track. I find it funny to be called an "asskisser" for posting something positive about Werner. I do not live in a truck though, i am one of those Pesky Net-Op drivers that get to be home daily and off weekends. And I did go to TDI in Sellersburg, instead of Indy. I like Werner, i have no reason not to. But what I find SO amazing, is that someone actually took the time, and actually cared what someone put in their profile. I never knew that one statement about me liking Werner, could offend someone so bad, *coughTimtruckcough*

Your calling me a wannabe in a disrespectful way. WTF does being a wannbe have to do with anything. Your just a little costie ex-cost guard too so what. My God not another one.

How do you know I haven't been out there. So, what if I haven't.

I don't have to be a heroin addict to know it's probably not going so good for them.

I don't have to prove anything to the likes of you. As for how something work's, any SOB can read about the #### that drivers got go through, on this website, to be in the know. Please don't play stupid, too. You have had to have read the stuff on this site. If not try it. When you read it see if you can drum up some compassion for your fellow drivers.

I come here to read, get info, ask questions, make my observations and comment on them. I don't get rude or nasty with anyone wither I like what they say or not. But I will get rude and nasty back at ya. It seems like certain people are just spoiling for a fight. Like they don't know what to do with themselves. Hey, if you wanta argue go argue with your girlfriend or boyfriend.

If you can't figure out how to say something nice or decent keep your #### to yourself. You remember what momma use to say or do you.

Now I challenge you to go back though these comments to the beginning and show me were I fronted you off, or disrespected you, to the point you think you got some right to come at me with your goofiness.

If you can I will sincerely apologize. If you can't, you commit to keeping your mouth shut when it comes to the snide remarks, and speak only nice to people or not at all on this site.

As for the 19th century, horses worked good. Toilets weren't so good.

I'm thinkin' heroin addicts have it worse than Big truck truck drivers.

Actually, you do.

Not being a SOB myself, I don't think that the "####" you read here qualifies you as any kind of an expert on the truckin' industry.
During your research, you may have read certain things you don't like, but that's you --- and possibly many others.
What you don't seem able to grasp is the opposing viewpoints.
Not EVERY driver is as upset as you seem to be, --- and they're actually out there doin' it as we type these posts, and doin' thangs the way they prefer.
Is it that hard for you to imagine that some folks don't want a johnny-come-lately, wannBee tellin' them they need YOUR changes to be happy?

I guess my response to this would be, "Or what?".

You might get'cher coax pinned.
(If y'all gotta ask what that means,
you don't need to know.
But, just a hint,
it pertains to a CB radio.)
