was my roadtester from May company on meth?

i BEEN DRIVING FOR SIX MONTHS otr WITH 2 DIFFERENT company's never had and problems passed there road tests, perfectly past my drivers school 280 hour course with a 4.0 grade average. may company uses the 13 speed i was having a little problem shifting gears on this split 13 speed haven't ever drove this type, but once in school 6 moths ago. and may company loves this 13
Truckers
gear box for some reason?
i told the tester that i was a little uncomfortable
with this shifter pattern while driving it on this test. i was used to a 10 speed kenworth with a cat engine at my old job, note different rpm range then the Cummings that it had in there. i had trouble getting it in gear over drive on the freeway and the instructor looks mad at me at this time of testing other thn that he failed me saying i shifted while driving over the railroad tracks ? i told him i didn't remember doing that?
he said i also turn on a yellow light on a freeway ramp ? i said yes i was already committed in that turn, with no backing up at this time and he said we only turn on green lights here at may company. so after the test i asked him politely can i go into there training program for a week or 2 like if i was a student, he said NO!?

Experience does not denote the ability to drive safely.

Nope. I'm saying maybe a change in attitude. Just because someone thinks they can point a rig down the road doesn't mean they'll do so safely and in accordance with company policies.

a taboo dont say anything about there trucks.. see i was struggling to find gears with that 13 speed piece of crap on that road test, and that nobody uses those 13 speeds now in the major truck industry..i was a confident driver to that company minded kiss #####

Well it seems to me if May Trucking wants to use 13 speeds that is their choice. If you can't drive one then you need to look for another company. It's that simple.

May and the 13 speed

Im going to jump in here and might be alittle long winded, sorry ahead of time.
I trained at CR England (yuck) in a Freightshaker 9sp. It is basically the same as a 8sp or 13sp. My trainer had a 13sp in his Classic and we started out as if it was an 8sp. Then we moved on to the splitting of gears. It can be over-whelming if you have not driven a 13sp, but is also close to a Super10. Shifting is shifting no matter what beast your in. Part of the problem was also the ######### who did the testing. The Layton terminal is not the nicest one in the May group..Also when I was at CRE there was a trainer (think hes still there) that failed EVERYONE who
had the mis-fortune of being tested by him. Did not matter how good they were,
he failed all. And this smug SOB would tell anyone who would listen what he was going to do BEFORE he took them on their test runs

PS i do work for May and they are FAR from perfect......but better than some..
