Put it this way, I would drive that truck back to the terminal...and if they tried to have me stopped on the way, I would make a HUGE deal out of it and make sure they got theirs. BS right there...that is not right.
they sent me to the kansascity mo terminal,if they were going to fire me i would think they would have sent me to the north jackson oh terminal.

Let this thread be a warning .. to everyone.

We have a meltdown going on within other segments of the US. And these people are flocking to the trucking industry in droves. Even though they look upon us as scum. They want our jobs.

You can be replaced, with 4 drivers. Willing to do your job for 10-20 cents per mile less than you make now.

Cross every T, dot every I .

What a sh*tbag of a company. Screw them, remember when one door closes, another usually better one opens. Best of luck to you.

Not to be a smart ###, I just don't comprehend how this is done/enforced/carried out.

Sorry to say, but I honestly find it VERY difficult to believe that any company would go to the trouble and expense to put a driver out of their equipment in a location outside of their control without an extraordinarily strong reason. Is it possible that there is more to the story than is being told?

I would like the opportunity to reform my opinion if I get a satisfactory explanation... thank you
they fired me at the terminal 900 mi from home. when there is one 80 mi from my house.they told me to stop in after i del in kc. they were nice enough to let me sleep in my truck till the next day. the problem is that an otr driver has alot of things that i had no way to get home.i used my last 70$ to ship some of my things from the ups store.the rest i just left there.

well, probably not. But I don't see him arguing that point? do you? His topic is that he was terminated 900 miles from home when there is a terminal just 80 miles from his house.

However, its all moot now! since he's home! yay!
