| These are things that happen because they can. It's wrong and maybe time drivers start to stand up to them. As the schools start turning out more and more from everyone turning to trucking and coming in at a lower start rate they are finding way's to terminate. I would tell them you will contact a lawyer some companies are a little scared with this class action suit going on with swift. The bigger the company the more they screw you. You do have rights, well some. Make a phone call see what they are.uh make the call befor you use the lawyer talk. or you might not get the bus ticket. |

| A suggestion Sorry for your bad situation. Not sure if you have the finances to rent a car but that might be an option. If that doesn't work see if the company will help you box up your stuff. Ship it to yourself either UPS or on the bus. From what I'm hearing you say a lawyer would not be a good use of resources. Keep it clean to save damage to your DAC. Chip up and good luck. |

| What does your fleet manager say about it? IF you're not getting good answers out of them, then maybe go to THEIR manager? I see "log violation" sheets to the tune of two and three pages come in the mail for hubby because their POS computer system doesn't always "get" the HOS or mileage differences between calculated and actual. Granted, he's an O/O at TA, but still... If they won't help you, just keep trying, it can't hurt if you're out anyway to keep chewing up the corporate ladder till you find someone to help you out. Did you have to leave the truck at the MO terminal or something? Maybe another TA driver heading to N. Jackson or PA would give you a lift...?

| WOW, now that is just WRONG. They should have at LEAST waited until you got into the terminal! Now I have a really bad opinion of Transport America to be sure! The worst part is all of your stuff. I am not sure what you would even do there man. Put it this way, I would drive that truck back to the terminal...and if they tried to have me stopped on the way, I would make a HUGE deal out of it and make sure they got theirs. BS right there...that is not right.

| Another prime example of why truckers need to stand up for themselves and each other. I'm not necessarily advocating a union or anything of that nature but, truckers need should be enitled to the same labor rules governing anyone else in the workforce. As long as we all sit still for it, the same abuses will continue to take place. Maybe elevating your standards and taking pride in yourselves as professionals will payoff someday. |

| Hmm... no wonder you hear drivers, sitting in truckstops, selling company fuel. I think if they put me out 900 miles from home, I'd be tempted to have an "electrical fire". It's one thing to fire a driver for drugs or alcohol where ever they may happen to be... but an OOS ticket? C'mon now... that's just petty!

| How did they know you ran illegal? You didn't turn in logs with violations, did you? Or did the qualcomm track your every move? It must be horrible to drive for a company that is completely against you.
