Ok first off no company makes you break the dot rules and regs that was you and your trainers choice to do so. All you were to your trainer is another log book to use and someone to make him money.
I totaly understand about the hometime issue I had problems about my hometime when I was out with my first company.
But did you request your hometime? If not then that is partialy your fault.
The company I was with told me once I got my truck I would get a couple of days at home to get all of my stuff the problem was that after I got my truck I got assigned a load with the dispatch saying take this load and then get another to go to hometime.
Well three to five loads later still no hometime and I asked them hey what happened to my prommised hometime they said well we never said that you were getting hometime I said well look at the preplan and dispatch for XXXXXX load they said we do not see it I asked them would you like me to drive my truck there to show you my qualcomm message? Then that message got deleted off of my qualcom somehow.
I got a couple of days off while my truck was in the shop and had to fight for a few more I said enough was enough turned my truck in.
The problem was with my terminal and driver manager I tried to talk to my dm and she had a bad aditude about it so I tried to work it out but she was a different person on the phone than she was when I was face to face with her.
She sent me a message one day forgot what it was about but I walked into the building with out her seeing me and said now what is your problem talk about the back peddling she was trying to doing.
The company that I was at always does a lot check every am to see who and what is there but I snuck in in the middle of the day without them seeing me They may have seen the truck but they do not pay that close attention to wh comes and goes in the day.
