USA J B Hunt is a true rip off

I finally got terminated on 10-5-08 from J B Hunt after 5 months and they really showed how big of a rip off they are. They sent a letter to their insurance company Aetna telling them to cancel my policy like they would with anybody, but they told them to go back to May 25 and cancel everything after that so all my medical bills Aetna paid for is being canceled so all my medical bills that were paid is having to be paid them back and that means that I have to pay all of the bills myself that Aetna should have paid. So bottom line is that J B Hunt cannot be trusted at all they will rip you off every way they can. So save yourself a lot of problems and stay away from J B Hunt there allot of good companies out there that are there for you but J B Hunt is not one of them.

Sorry, but way more to this story than you let on. Why would they retro the insurance payment? There must be a reason.

They would have to have a legal reason to retro your insurance, and even then you would be protected by law. By law you have the right to choose to keep your insurance through a Cobra plan. But if your termination date is 10/8/08 they can not legally retro your insurance.

It's quite obvious TGarrie is either telling an outright lie or misunderstanding the facts.

Often times susbstandard employees get their rears' fired and then feel they have to lash out at their former employers in revenge. So they misrepresent what happened and leave out the pertinent details. They figure someone will be stupid enough to believe the made up story. So far it looks like he's not fooling too many of us.

Suck it up TGarrie, Swift and Werner have pretty low standards and hire other company's rejects you should fit in just fine with them.

After talking to some of there local drivers, JB Hunt has pretty low standards as well and I'm not just talking about drivers themselves. I am talking about there pay. They work local in the Los Angeles area and are paid mileage? Do you know what traffic is like around here? One driver said he was on track to make 45k this year. That doens't sound good to me for LA or any other place for that matter.

They are right up there with all of the bad companies. Driver mills. And where do you work? I would like to look them up and see what your company offers that is so much better.

Well if someone is dumb enough to work for mileage in LA, then they deserve what they get...

Local work at JB Hunt is typically paid at $16/ hr.

$45k kinda sucks if you're talking OTR but if you're talking local work, home every night and only working 5 days a week it's not bad and pays better than most OTR on a per hour or per day basis.

My comment was not directed as positive or negative towards JBH but calling shenanigans on the OP for making up such a fictitious story in a lame attempt to demonize his employer.
Sure I don't the whole story, but I'm pretty certain he's not telling the truth as no company can retroactively cancel insurance of an employee who paid their premiums.
Who I drive for or what they offer is irrelevant to this discussion.
