Did you get your pay info on email yesterday. If not they are holding your pay, call your fleet manager and ask questions. IMO they will try everything to not pay you.

No decent size company will accept military driving experiance, or local driving experience as "experience". If it is not OTR it does not count for anything, no more pay, no job without retraining. Most of this is due too insurance company's. I have had my CDL A since around Feb 1992. Got it right after I got out of the Army. I drove local/ regional in several states in the time since then, but when I decided I was ready for the road no company's would touch me without a refresher course. Good luck with the job hunt, but if you want to get into a mid to large size OTR company, you will need OTR experience.

im a noob just got my cdl on tuesday maverick approved me but i am a little skeptical now, they have verified all my current employment before but now they want to call my current employer and I dont want my current employer to know im getting ready to hit the highway.(plus i have a bonus check I want to make sure i get before i leave there.) and some calling from somewhere else to verify employment is a surefire wayto give my current employer a reason to find a way to get rid of me before i get that bonus. the funny thing is every other company i have applied to while in school has approved me and already has everything they need and told me when you want to setup orientation give me a call. Makes you wonder why they want to reverify my employment with current employer again.

Bigpapa7272, I was in the same situation recently. Ask your recruiter if you can show paysstubs or w2s. Companies dont necessarily need to talk to them but if you show them your 2 most recent stubs and previous years tax returns that should be all they need to verify. Not all companies are the same but I hope this helps. Good luck!
