Angry Again.. CRST

I went through CRST to get my CDL this last July. I have been driving with them with the intent to finish my 8 month contract but have been having issues with co-drivers. I had 2 co-drivers after my trainer and my problem all started with the second co-driver. After a week out on the road he said he had a family emergancy and needed to get home.. thats ok i understand that. it took us a little bit to get back to Fontana Terminal. once we got off the truck he said he would call me and we would head back out in a couple days... I didnt believe him... and i was right,, after 3 weeks he never called me. Anyway since i figured he was going to do that I was looking for a new co-driver the entire time home. I would call my dispatcher and updae her and let her know what i was doing. I never had a problem... Once i found a co-driver I was at the terminal with my stuff getting ready to leave on thetruck and dispatch calls and says that I am terminated!!.. I asked what for and she transferred me to a fleet manager named John. He said I failed to report in for a month!!.. I couldnt believe it!! I explained that I was in contact every couple days with my dispatcher and he said he would try to get me reinstated.... never happend. I found another company that wanted to hire me and they even said CRST terminated my contract on thier on will... but.... CRST will not verify my work history to that company.. I have tried many times to get into contact with anyone at CRST but they will not take my calls or even respond to my emails... they think now i will just pay them $4500 for that contract!! huh?.. what a joke! I never quit them,, I was trying to work and leave for a run!! CRST needs to be shutdown or sued so bad they will think about what they do.. I have heard and read stories about CRST but just figured there is two sides to every story and things like that couldnt happen to anyone that handles thier business... Anyway I need some feedback on this... I am trying to get another company to hire me but I dont know what to tell them... Cant I just say I did the class A CDL on my own with no truck school?? would a company see CRST on my DAC???

The best to do is go to the EEOC and file a complaint. Until we as drivers start filing complaints against this kind of unfair practice these companies will continue to do what they do...

Well here is some food for thought, if my co-driver needed time off i would have been all over him after the 3 days by the 5th day i am in the truck solo! Why do you want a co-driver for you dont really make that much more and you have to deal with some slob in your truck and trying to sleep while someone else has my life in their hands is not for me.

I know a couple of crst drivers and that place puts up with alot of stuff from drivers so i find it hard that they fired you for the actions of that dumb ### when you called your dispatcher several times. crst has alot of issues so dont think you lost alot. good luck and happy hunting
