Thank you DonPissedOff for taking the time out of your busy day over the road to defend me on this post. You are right, I do have a son, and am going through a divorce... I did everything I could both for him and for Central... maybe that guy was right, maybe I'm not cut out to drive truck, but it's the only career I absolutely LOVE! Thanks again for having my back Driver. BTW, I'm a member of OOIDA, and they are trying to assist me as well.

JJ,
Still only hiring students?
Anyone getting into the school right now, for the end of August/September time frame?
Being a glutton for punishment, I'm about to apply.
Only non-CDL, non-Permit, correct?

I have a couple of more detailed non-public questions if you have the time.
Thanks!

You've got to be kidding me, JahB. "Only hiring students" is the BIGGEST red flag there could possibly be.

I don't know whether my use of the term "ONLY" indicates that that is a fact at all. Interesting assumption. To be precise, I would need to know more accurately whether they ARE hiring non-CLD, and/or non-permitted drivers, or only Driving School Graduate trainees, and/or only experienced drivers and/or Owner Operators. That seems a kind of normal, basic question, one that isn't always accurately answered on the web site, since things often change.

There are any number of red flags for every company that offers training, and red flags for many companies that don't offer training. Some have flags more numerous, and some more red than others. It would take an amazing ability to read anything on this site, and not see that. Further, it would be willful ignorance to disregard it.

Kidding? How so? This abnormally large red flag you have determined has somehow escaped my notice, would indicate what specifically? I want to be smart, too.
