| The problem with dacfix is that they charge for their services and we are entitled to a free report and free rebuttal. They really cannot do anything to repair the report since the company is closed. All they can do is help get a rebuttal on there and that is actually a free service under FCRA. They are really like companies that charge to fix a credit report. They almost always cannot do any more than an individual can do for free. And again in this case where the company is closed, whereas in some cases they may be able to pressure a company to remove incorrect info, the company is no longer there to try to force a change. |

| Well if you send in the rebuttal, and the company that put the abandonment on your record is out of biz, then how can DAC verify the abandonment? Was wondering about that. |
