| help from exp. drivers..stranded Have been stranded down in FL for four days now..cannot even get my dispatch to answer my messages most of the time..am a new driver, just three months in, and unsure if there is a problem with a dispatcher that does not like me, just no work, or wonder if I should call dispatch instead of using quallcom? seems to me being stranded four days is a bit much? don;t want to get on anybodys bad side, because i have heard that pissing off a dispatcher is a stupid way to go, but do not know what to do right now???? |

| I agree with 4015. You don't have to be obnoxious to them when you are on the phone. But for heaven sake, make the call!

| Make the call. Its easy for them to forget about you if freight is slow and you don't make some noise. Florida has always been a bad place to reload out of if you have a drybox. A company I used to run for would deadhead us from Ft Myers to Valdosta Ga just to get a load going somewhere.
