What kinda miles did you get,and CPM?They run around here in the south, and
I see the same guys running my lanes. -
When I started working for DM Bowman they said you where going to make 1000.00 a week and I only made 500.00 the drivers managers would lie to you all the time so you mess up with your paper work and the Quad Comm and they would take it off your pay check .I caught them doing to me a couple times. They want to mess you up because some one told me.The more they mess you up the better bonuses they will get. And I believe that to be true and it was not the only person I herd it from when I worked there.

What did they put on your DAC report? You can fight it,if they gave false information.
-
The miles where terrible 1500 to 2500 week .35 if you have endorsements Hazmat and your Twic card and Passport card .38 a mile

"First job I ever had to quit"?
Get fired from the others?Broke Down 69 and OPUS 7 Thank this. -
As far as I know unless you completely screw up as far as abandoned truck or load they won't report to DAC. I have since left and got a well better paying job and I haven't seen anything on there. However pull you DAC report for free just to make sure.

That's messed up taking money out of your check for everything.Sounds like its impossible to make over the $500.00 dollar mark. Can you give me an estimate how much money they took?So in reality you should have been making over $500.00?Did they put anything on your DAC?

i started with bowman as an otr driver, and got talked into one of their dedicated runs. was told that it was all pre-loaded, m-f,$1000/week guaranteed regardless of load availablity, home every weekend, 2-3 nights a week, no more than 350 miles from shipper. i am usually attached to the same trailer for 2 or 3 weeks, spend anywhere from 2 to 6 hours getting loaded, many runs of over 400 miles one way, and the guarantee is a joke, they come up with as many excuses as they can to not pay it. weekends off is also a joke, have not had an entire weekend off since starting this. and now they are claiming that i agreed to work weekends as my hours permit, which i usually have lots of cause waste so much time getting loaded and waiting on load assignments. fleet managers continually lie about everything, threaten your employment, and asking for information (directions, delivery addresses) is like getting teeth pulled. i truly regret ever coming to work for this company.

If anyone told me $1000 a week was guaranteed regardless of load availability I wouldn't listen to another word they had to say.
Think about it. The job of any transportation firm is to move freight. If they're not moving freight, they're not getting paid and neither will you. No company will make up that difference. They wouldn't be in business very long.
