I'll make a wager that if he was subjected to any of the things he claims, it was probably due to some irrational behavior on his part. Without defending Priority Transportation in any way, he may well have been lied to in every way as to what the job was supposed to have been, and what it turned out to be. Some drivers will decide to quietly leave, and will quit with respect and dignity. Others will make a complete ### of themselves and will reak havoc. I suspect that this is what this particular driver did, and it's likely that because of his behavior during the six weeks he was there, and on the day he terminated, that Priority took steps to protect their property and other employees on the premises. He may have even made some threats to someone over the phone, which triggered all the negative things that happened. Let's face it...there's good and bad companies, and there are good and bad drivers. Companies can be their own worst enemies, and the same can be said for some drivers as well.

If they happened at all. One of his major complaints on the web site was that they wouldn't authorize the use of tolls. I see them running the Penna, Ohio, and Indiana turnpike all the time. Supposdely they routed him 150 extra miles to avoid toll use on a 300 mile trip. Maybe my maps, (and my directional abilities!) are screwed up, but I can't even begin to imagine the routing directions that would result in that. Almost every toll road I have ever seen has a parallel state highway that you can run, just have to go through some slowdowns, stoplights, and small towns. His story just doesn't pass the sniff test in a lot of little things, and those eventually add up to bigger things. And why would a guy who has come up with this great engine of the future need to drive a truck anyhow? Inquiring minds want to know. But they probably never will know.... Next day edit: I passed 4 Priority trucks today in Chicago area, all going my direction. In each case, the little blue box was in the front window, so they all had EZ pass units on the trucks.

After reading the responses to this post I feel I must now reply. My experience with Priority has been an extremely positive one.I have found several of the allegations posted here about this co. to be hard to believe. The majority of the freight I ran either originated or terminated in the northwest which meant that I spent alot of time on toll roads. The only toll road they did noy want us to run was the PA. Turnpike. All I had to do was call my dispatcher and he then authorized me to even run on that toll road as well.My average mileage weekly was about 2600 to 3000 miles every week.I had no problems with maintenance issues as they were always addressed promptly.I was home every weekend without exception and I had a great relationship with Pete, my dispatcher out of Farmington N.Y.I made plenty of money and drove a fully decked out 2004 INTL.9400I truck that had plenty of power was fully loaded including leather interior and was extremely comfortable.Their are alot of companies out there that are deserving of the critisism they recieve in my opinion this one is not.I know that this co. is not perfect but giving some of the other companys out their Priority is about the best otr co. I have worked for.Thank you TT for having a very professionally run forum where we can go to get credible information about this industry

Priority trans? I spend alot of time reading these posts, as Turbo and Portland will tell you I currently have too much time on my hands due to a trucking accident. BUT saying that i hardly respond to a post on here but this one i felt the true need too. It does NOT make any sense to me what you are claiming here, You say you lost your property? I cant see that happening after 6 weeks of employment with them even if you recieved NO PAY AT ALL. Something in the back of my mind says you had money problems before working for them. I'm not defending this company as i know nothing about them, But this post just doesnt sound right at all, You say they were going to have you put in jail if you didnt leave thier property, I have a feeling there is a whole lot more to this story. Lastly, I see that you sorta attacked Turbo, I too attacked him at one point in one of my posts, BUT I calmy explained things to him and he figured it out and actually gave me very good advice. I would urge you to try and do the same, We are all drivers on here explaining what has happend to us, We can all learn by each other if we keep our minds open and work together. I too hope you get your dentures back. and Im not calling you a liar in regards to your post, I just have questions.

| A fine example! My dad gets discusted these days. He's 83 and seen a thing or two but never thru the windshiled of a big truck. He's told me about when men were men and used positive peer pressure to let the boys know they were not gaining any respect by dimming the light of others or bullying others. Especially women! I'm glad to see that the practice has not been forgotten. I am still working on my training, reseaching companies, making my priorities and planning my future. I'm proud of those of you that step up objectively and positively. No, there is no such thing as a perfect company, but there is no such thing as a perfect employee or driver either. I hear the good and the bad aspects about being a professional driver here for the most part. I also hear those that seem to want to blame the world for their problems. For them... If you get that everywhere you go, well... you may want to consider the common denominator. I was told by 16 doctors I'd never walk again. They didn't lie, they just were not educated enough with their by the book medicine. The 17th doctor told me I'd lose my Navy Career, he couldn't help me until I had no quality of life left. His words hurt, but they were the truth and ultimately I overcame the odds and I'm in better health than people half my age. I slung 50lb bags of salt over my shoulder today to de-ice my road to my hillsidehome becaue the town won't plow it. I walk, I climb, I split wood, haul water, haul gas to make my own power and I can dance all night. When I turn on 110 power, I put on my slippies and go out to pull start the generator. When I turn them off, it's slippy time again. Life isn't always easy, we may not like the choices we have, but be thankful we have choices! If it is your dream, keep on it, keep looking at the future the the windscreen of your truck. It will happen! 73's TwystSista
