Swift, had a dumb swift driver hold up the shipping dock

This is what a Swift driver did once. He drove his truck and parked it in ship row, where there are 3'x5' signs that clearly state DO NOT ENTER. We at the warehouse were in a batch change, and we have to get it done in a hurry. Thats why our trailers have roll doors. A batch change is where we have 32 dock doors where each door has a trailer that belongs to a store that gets loaded. We service 118 stores and do 4 batch changes per day. One of the yard drivers said get out of here, your blocking us from doing our job. bababbbooow, his english was horrible. The dummy sat there for 10 minutes while he talked on his cell phone. He held up a few doors from getting empty trailers for the new batch. The conveyor system couldent take it from the mass of cases, and those doors that couldent get an empty trailer had to put the freight on the dock-instead of in the trailer. Neverless, the shift supervisor got his tractor and licence plate number and contacted Swift about it.

A lot of drivers who talk ************ about a company have never worked for them. They merely recycle what they've heard from somebody else.

I have worked for them and I talk about them sometimes. I just don't like reliving the worse year of my life.

trust me sir.....simply because you can read, speak and write the English language, in accordance with DOT regulations, does not mean there still isn't a language barrier....most of my drivers that have english as a second language, as difficult to understand as they are, will drive cirlces around a great deal of my "American" drivers....they aren't that great with the language...but they sure do know how to work

Man get a grip on yourself. You are a 24 year old night dispatcher for Swift. We get it. You love your job,we also get that. It is always the drivers fault,we get that to. Now stop it your killing my buzz. Just think happy thoughts. It will all be ok.
