| I worked for NFI on a dedicated pop can run in Columbus oh in the mid 90's. I was hired to run from Col Oh to Detroit and back everyday, hauling pepsi cans to the plant in Detroit on a rollerbed 53' trl. Each load paid $140. The average day was about 9 1/2 hrs. After 4 months they came out and said we can't pay you $140 anymore, now we can only pay $125. Two months later it was, now we can only pay you $110. So I said see ya later. They get you hooked with a decent paying job and then start chipping away at it untill there is nothing left.  |
