If you can get by that lying stinkin orientation jerk and that so called safety director who likes to play god. You might do okay there. But they dragged me on a bus for three days and i was approved by everyone there. I didn't lie about anything and even drove their truck over the weekend to pick up some other trucks for them with a group from orientation. By monday that jerk safety director had the woman come in and tell me that they couldn't hire me..i was totally thrown a hard ball. And asked here why.....?? She said i didn't bring any paperwork to show i was off parole...since 2003...omg! I told her in the last six yrs of driving no one has asked me to bring them anything. If they told me that i would of gladly brought the ppwrk...i thing they had already too many drivers lined up for orientation and being a woman i got the boot...i have no accidents or anything...then they sent me back to idaho...and on my dac report it says i was discharged...isn't that great!!! Now i have to explain that one and its' been held against me....i just give up....all i wanted was a job........that recruiter theresa is a stinkin witch....i told her everything about me.....

Srt good company
They are a good company. I always inquired about SRT throughout my career, I've been driving 12 years and I've never heard anything bad about them. I just recently put in an app with SRT and they gave me a cal. They are very professional and polite and I see there trucks running, not sitting in the truckstop. If I were you I would go with SRT, do the hours of training and push on Truck Driver!

I drove for srt for 4 months.!500 miles a week wont provide for a family.although their equipment was good,I'd rather drive a junker and make some money

SRT "Farming"
I'm not completely sure but it sounds plausible because of my personal experiment SRT. After working with the reruiter, I was upfront and honest about something in my past (suspnded lic. d/t unpaid moving violation in my private vehicle that occured in 2006 (didnt get my CDL til 3/2011), did not know my lic. was suspended until 2010 - immediately paid the fine - my lic. was renewed). Anyway, when the recruiter told me they wanted to hire me, I specifically reminded them of my lic. issue (most trucking companies require a suspension be at LEAST over 12 ago.) and she assured it was not a problem
They paid for my bus ticket from ATL to Texarkana where I attend 3 long days of orientation and at the end of it they told me they could not hire me!! They paid for my 4 night hotel stay plus a return ticket home.
I had never heard of the term you used, but from the way I interpreted it, my scenario seems to fit.
Good Luck and Keep On Truckin'

srt "farming" correction
Sorry, I just noticed my typo in my first sentence. It should have been 'personal experience', not experiment.

I drove for SRT for a little less then a yr. it was the Worse company I have ever drove for. The trucks and trailers were horrable. They lie, cheat and steal! To say the least!
.... Please drivers dont waist your time.
