All the problems i see on here are just standard operating proceedure for the trucking business. Always carry a shovel with you, it gets pretty thick.

I started at the goldrock nc,fac side company driver .Started out good first month ,second month be out for 2 weeks and only drive 5-6 days.Never where they organized.Had give 8 day notice to get time off ,only got home time once on time.Barley gettin 900 miles for the week.Every time came threw people droppin trucks at yard five at a time.Found out truth from the mechanics they cuttin us down by half,droppin mechanics.Fac didnt want to resign the contract.The word was everybody was going to fleet!!!!!

F.a.c is the broker that trans am had contract with in rocky mount nc.Can't remember what it stands for.My trainer called me today and told me he quit they were tryn to force him into a lease.They told him he had most miles over at fac side and he would do great in a lease.....His buddy who is a trainer got pushed over to fleet .He said he would tell me what happened to him tomorro............Heck i just quit and went back to my concrete buisness,hvac repair work.

Sounds like alot of large transportation companies are going to forced lease purchase programs to be able to compete...the latest being JB Hunt, yes, they don't tell you this till after your probationary period and training is over folks...so I have heard...I would never drive for them. I work for a company that will not go O/O, it had an O/O fleet at one time due to an acquisition but quickly sold it to save money. Company driver all the way here folks...with this economy it's the only shakey sure thing...I say shakey because now a days nothing is a sure thing, except death and taxes...but that's another story.
