I believe if you are unhappy at your company and cannot find a way to be satisfied, give them notice and leave. Apparently they have many drivers that like working there, so maybe it is not a good fit for you. The thing that is great about America is that you are not tied to one job. Move on and quit complaining.

Witte Sucks....I worked for themand got screwed by the dispatchers who think they are gods. ##### em. I would rather work for Rapid Response and be gone two weeks from home than to work for a company who claims you will be home every weekend...for what twelve hours?

Questions for Witte drivers

What kind of miles are most drivers getting for the week? Have you seen a big decline in freight like most companies? How is the turn over with drivers? Are most drivers happy with the company overall (I know every company has there problems) Do they keep their promises?

Freight has slowed down at Witte, but probably no less than any other company. They seem to be an honest company that does not try to hide anything. Most drivers that have complaints and bad mouth the company are guys that cause their own problems and want to blame everyone else. Overall, a good company.

Foghat - I assume you are asking about Witte's driver training program? The program is pretty good.......six weeks training at their terminal, then followed by six weeks training over the road with a trainer. You should be able to make pretty good money your first year, probably over $30k. It should not take too long to be making over $50k. They seem to be a pretty honest company with great equipment and benefits. They are getting all new Pete's this year, but even the equipment they trade is in great shape. Hope this helps and good luck.

They only except schools that are PTDI certified, if the school you are going to is not you will have to go through their six week training (school) and then six weeks with a trainer OTR.
