    Wow....

I really hate to read this kind of stuff.

Dump 'em out of the motel without even so much as a "good luck"!!!

Nope...call the cops and have them evicted.

It sure makes me want to consider them....NOT!!!

Yeah, I went up to find them and give them a ride to Galesburg as we have no transportation facilities here. They were long gone......took a cab to the Amtrak Depot.

I was going to offer them a meal and use of my computer to tell their story here but, I guess I was too late................:smt076

Last year about this time we were
sweating the Federal DOT on-site inspection.
We have taken control of the
logs now and made many improvements.
Is it enough? Only the next Federal
    DOT audit will tell!!
We have many fears associated with
their visit… Will the drivers whose
names are “drawn” be compliant? Will
    they pass all reviews?
Those who are most likely to be
considered for the audit are those who
have had a DOT reportable accident,
those who have been placed out of service
and those with more than the
“average” miles per month. Do you fit
in any of these categories? If so, we
hope that your logs are in order and
    you are compliant. Otherwise, you
might find yourself in a very uncomfortable
    situation!

Doesn't look good........... Notice how the drivers may find themselves in a very uncomfortable situation?

I thought when I told you all about Schanno,on my earlier posts,I said all of the GROGEAN companies,van-pac,greenfield,burlington,hirschback,are all using the drivers, you will start great, then get double brokered thru their friends and these companies. Scahanno paid me 57 cpm out of boston to chicago at the time I gave them back the truck, its all in the prior post,.don't listen to me,you will be sorry, ruin your credit and get behind in all your bills. They are in the business of selling the trucks over and over again.

as i said back in august we have been with hirschbach since march it is now december and we are still here, we r doing a lease purchase. get hometime anytime and for as long as we want it, make good money average 1100.00 to 1600.00 a week take home after expenses. are never pushed to run hard or illegal. and as far the the DOT audit the company passed it without a problem in either oct or nov cant remember. as far as the drivers you hear complaining they are the ones that sit up in the truck stops complaining and chasing the lot lizards and not running, the ones out here like us that run and make money dont have any problems so no one hears from us. its the same with anything you look up on the internet all you ever hear or see is the horror stories and not the good. just my 3cents

first off your math is off we take home around 35cpm after everything is paid even fuel. and as for our lease we will own the truck. i personaly know of 5 other drivers that have paid off there trucks, 2 of them are buying the second ones now. also with you being a company driver u will never own your own truck, plus you have to do and go where they tell you we dont. but enought of this we r both entitled to our own comments. but we like it here and take home good money.

I am wondering if things have changed for the better with this company, since these posts are a little dated. They are offering my husband a job starting out at .34 a mi. with 1 yr. otr experience. Should we give them a chance? The starter co. he works for now is only paying him .28 a mi., we lost our apt., cant afford anything, living in our truck, and feel completely stuck. They paid for his school, so we're suppose to stay till Sept. I dont know if we can hold out till then or not. They give us like 1,400. -1,900 mi. on the good weeks. The planners are #######, the dispatchers are rude, and talk to him like he's an idiot. Our d.m. walked out, thats how bad our co. has gotten. So if anyone thinks Hirschbach is just as bad, please let me know. Dont want to jump out of the pan into the fire here. We are not looking to lease, just drive company. thank you all for any advice.
