This is very doable at JB. It's no lie. But that money(or any money) does not keep drivers there longer than 4-5 months. Driver treatment is really bad. I have no idea why. I stayed 6 months averaging. 700 week. I could not stand it there.:biggrin_2557::biggrin_2557:

Because there are 20+ other drivers that are willing to park their ### in the seat you just vacated, and they know it.

It just frightens me how easily people accept intrusive technologies. The common logic is "if you have nothing to hide, it shouldn't be an issue". Well it is an issue. Cameras, eorb's, radars, white line sensors, and all this other crap are destroying personal freedoms and our presumption of innocence. Wake up people, and quit allowing "big brother" in your life.

These technologies are just a prelude to fully automated transportation at some point, hopefully after most of us retire. ... :biggrin_25513:

Just gonna throw in my 2 cents. I just left JB after 13 months. Started with them as a regional driver. It was just like the recruiter told me as far as miles and pay goes. That was a surprise! After about 4 months, they offered me a dedicated run on the GP account. Home every weekend and southeast only. Down side was a 2 cent pay cut, but I took the offer and really liked it. My goal when I started with them was to get on the intermodal side. This is where the money is at JB. I had gotten the guys name and number at the Charlotte hub, and would call every now and then but they have a long list of drivers wanting to get on that board. My experience there was not so bad. Do your homework and check out companys before you leap. I'm off to tankers now which is where I've wanted to be anyway.

I worked for J.B. for a year on a dedicated acount. Probably the best trucking experience I've had so far. Good money, always out of the same terminal, home weekends, never had any problems really. The only thing that I will say negative about J.B. is that they hire college grads to be driver managers and these kids come in talking about statistics alot. That gets old but all in all I would go back to work for them again. The only reason I left was because another company came in and undercut them and we lost that account.
