I recently entered into their "lease-purchase" deal. Omg ! What a scam ! There is so much double dealing with this outfit ! I wouldn't advise anyone to ever talk to them; let alone work for them. Boy ! What a terrible place ! If you are hauling freight for them; you will barely make enough to pay for your truck. So; you know you will not make a dime to pay your own bills. Perkins is a joke of a trucking company. This is not a driver friendly company.

 

maybe some of the guys are. But speaking from personal experience with these people; i have had my own bad experience with perkins. You're right; not everyone can fit into a perkins mold. Some of US have lives.

 

I'm going around to all the Perkins threads and letting people know that this October, I've been with Perkins for 4 years.

 

Heck, all you need now is a quarter and I will give you a cookie.

You said it yourself.You have to be a outlaw trucker to make it there and with their CSA score, you must be right.

 

Well, you may want to double check that CSA score thingy. Our only flaggable deficiency now, is cargo securement. Which must be the flatbedders.

And we've been running QLOGS for over a year now. So the days of outlaw truckin are long gone.

And I'm STILL making it here!
