Forbidden 3 National Carriers, liberal ks & Dallas tx

Lease Driver Company. All the bad things you heard about lease to own companies happens at National Carriers. Do not join if you like getting paid every week. They charge driver for every thing, give little. No APU's on trucks, mostly fuel hogs, "CONTRACT SAYS AS IS, and they will put you in truck one week after another driver abuse it and turn it in, wont even replace tires for you. Sometimes they will not even wash it. You will go down the road breaking down before you can build up money in maint account. Losing customers, econmy with slow freight not helping. Low miles, not unusual for driver to make just enough money to pay truck and just get the $175 advance they let you get to live off all week. If you have maint problems before you build up account which is usally why most quit, they will take from your pay and you get zero. Can go weeks making just enough to pay for truck and nothing left for you to pay your bills. many drivers have gone a month or more with out getting paid. I drove lease truck for them for almost 2 years, many months had at least one week no pay. finally had month with only one small check and gave their truck back. Many of their drivers have phones turned off or cars repo because of the above. when complain are told to drive slower and idle less to save fuel or getting the loads the best they can... I have been driving for more than 10 years, the 5 years prior to national carriers I earned $50,000 a year, alittle more or less. the one full year with national carriers i earned less than $35,000 running 7 days a week with only a few day off all year. You have been warned...National Carriers is a

Elite Fleet

Yeah, i was laughing about that elite fleet lie for almost two years. The driver that recruited me brought home an average of $350 a week for the months of Oct, Nov and Dec the same year he recruited me. they mentioned his name on the driver hotline, patted him on the back, because he did not quit. Before he joined national he had a nice new car. After he got Elite, it got repo. His phone is constantly cut off. Wonder why? He told me once because of maint problems and more, he did not get a check for 3 months...Elite......No sugar in that coolaid...

I always did figure leasing was a sucker's bet. Guess I was right. At least with this outfit.

Depends on where you go, and how the deal is structured.

Well I've been with National since January and have completed my lease and am currently on my way to Dallas to turn in my truck!!! I will say one thing about it I made enough to be able to buy my own truck and not be broke and that is about the only good thing I can say about leasing. National did run the #### out of me and didn't care what I did log book wise but I have only been home for 18 days since January!!! I enjoyed working for National but will not be leasing my new truck on to them as to they have no North Carolina freight.
Ironpony please don't "troll" as you whine when others do over on the CRIME INC. threads.
