Sold, you did say RED TRUCKS right?
-
Whether you're a Knight supporter or a former Knight victim-I-mean-driver, ya gotta admit this is hysterical. Well done, JD--you are every bit a snark artist!!

I saw a gray Knight truck once. Well, it was gray when it went into the truck wash and it was red when it came out the other end.

A lot of drivers don't understand per-diem aka meal allowance as something you can file on your own at tax time. All you have to do is keep your log books and calculate the # of days you were away from home and give them to your tax man.Knight does the same thing and gets their money back that they fronted you as a driver and acted like it was some big benifit that THEY were giving you.Its what I like to call smoke and mirrors..!
fuel367 Thanks this. -
They still charging 2 cents a mile to do the per diem? I hope Kevin's bunghole can handle Tuscon Pound Me Prison....
We also deliver there, maybe Kevin will unload a Knight truck after getting nailed for fraud. -
anyone run out of gulfport ms that can fill me in before i go?
-
I never made it all the way through orriantation, they told me after they got me there and I passed there physical and road test they couldn't hire me because of a knee day surgery almost a year ago. and there pay scale is stupid. .31 cpm to .40 cpm. the more you run the less you make, what is this crap!

You missed nothing. They would have wasted three days of your time with stuff that could be done in a day. As many people as they hire DAILY you would think they would hire someone to do this. After the three days wasted you would get a truck and they would act bothered that you expected a load. Knights full of people that just don't care. No way can a driver survive under those conditions when all they want is a measly 2500 miles a week and no company created BS.

been off work nearly 2 weeks now. i was supposed to have gotten a truck awhile ago. i noticed more than a dozen newbies at orientation. how much you wanna bet they already have an assigned truck once friday hits? here i am sitting at home, still, without a freaking truck.
well, hell, i can use this opportunity to go around locally and check out job opportunities.
