Do not work for knight transportation!!!

Im an 0/0 with knight they dont pay 0/0s fuel surcharge they call it fuel protection and its based on gallon price at the pump, while they charge customers per loaded mile, they are making a fortune off of the 0/0s. and nothing we can do about it, as long as they offer this fuel protection crap.

 

Dropped starting pay again, 30 cents a mile, also you burn up more time stilling unpaid at the docks, so it's a wash. Shorter hauls Knight makes almost $4 a mile.

Knight is the supreme mega junk carrier. I'd say nuff said but were barely even getting warmed up here.

lies, lies, lies, lies and that's just from the owner via the pretty glossy trucking rags.

Are all Knight trucks running 2500-3000 miles per week? Why not?

Are PM's performed in a timely manner YET? Why not?

Does the lack off empty trailers still exist? Why?

Do they still say "do this for an empty for no pay"? Why?

Chances are if your reading this and currently driving for Knight, you'll be long gone by next week. But that's what they count on. There aren't to many drivers willing to work for a pathetic amount of some 1000-1500 miles per week. I got the miles so it can be done BUT your going to put up with a lot of BULL lies and attitudes from people who really don't like you. Remember though kiss their ###'s because they control your fate. Don't worry about looking at yourself in the mirror as you won't even bother showering at the terminals where they make you fuel since the showers at Knight terminals should be considered Bio hazard environments.

What a bunch of idiots over there running that mega junk house, churning out drivers only to discard them a week later all in the name of saving a nickel. Morons !!!! For reasons laid out in the previous 500 pages, KNIGHT SUCKS! But yet they keep on keeping on. Are people in general losing all forms of self respect for themselves and their families well being? It sure looks like it and theres Knight cashing in on the phenomenon.

 

Knight is close to growing again, not sure what carrier yet.

 

Fuel surcharge or protection, same with all carriers. As long as I'm bringing in the money and home every week, I could care less what knight makes. Its the same with all carriers. If knight screws me, then I will move on, I wouldn't stick around and whine. I've got a good thing goin!

 

look it is simple every company has it's own B.S so we all have to deal with the grass is not always greener on the other side of the fence just be glad u have a job there is alot of people out there who don't who would love to be back to work

 

DNA they still have shortages of mtys, they always have and they still have a bunch for sale! It doesn't make sense having drivers looking for them especially now that most use electronic logs. I always get paid to get an mty, thankfully it doesn't happen often. I haven't hit 3000 miles in a long time, but I usually only run 5 days a week and 2 off. I don't use there terminal facilities, I use Pilot but then again I'm not out there weeks at a time. Have a goodnite and drive safe!

 

It's beyond BS at Knight. Dude your getting F'ed up the rear by working for no pay. I would think it's illegal but I guess they figure "well geez if someones willing to work for no pay...well okay then"

I wouldn't justify Knights dishonesty, lack of respect for you, and unwillingness to pay for all work performed as "ah they all do it" No they don't. Theirs plenty of green grass out here. The real problem is the artificial manufactured astro turf.

You do know why Knight started training don't you? No ones foolish enough to work for them longer than a month.
