Yep newbies, when you go to your OTR company and think they are going to schedule your workday so that it maximizes your income under the 14hour rule, you will have a rude awaking. And a choice to make, which is which team you want to be on. The one that gets the job done and gets paid. Or the one that is sitting around trying to get layover approved.

Let's just say that that also doesn't even work. Currently we are having issues with the "Division Manager" being only part time, and with three people in the office...

Wait, it was like this when we were at full staff! Getting PO for local work and layover is stressful enough to make you cry. This isn't like Tulare where KC might get stuff done (as long as it isn't fixing the broken Transflow machine) this is where the office staff's twitter pages look like this:

"I hate work- Its so freakin depressing. Im going home!"

"Its the weekend!!!! This was the craziest day at work! I cant believe how crazy these people are!"

"Work sucks! Drivers suck! I need a vacation!"

These are comments taken right off a office worker's twitter page. Drivers aren't smart enough to use computers, so it's OK to bad talk them online.

OK fine, I'm depressed, can't I just drive this #### truck?

How did/do you get these tweets? I confess I don't twitter, but maybe, just maybe, exposing some of these people could help?

So that would be five companies in four years, kind of destroys your credibility. You may not be, but this really makes you look like a flake.
Look the truth is all of these trucking companies take advantage of there drivers on a regular basis. Its just a matter of sticking somewhere long enough to get out of the barrel so to speak. Your not hanging in there long enough to get to the good work. You've got to grow some thick skin if your going to make it as a driver. Good luck in the future.

a year ago, i rented a car in clovis, ca. one of the agents at enterprise asked who i drove for. i drove for a different company at the time. he then told me he was a dispatcher at the tulare terminal for knight. he craptalked some drivers and the management, and was happy he left knight to work at enterprise. he also told me knight didn't pay him enough to deal with all the bullcrap. i don't remember his name. all i know is that he was a short, stocky guy with short black wavy hair.

There is no point staying at companies that do not respect you as a driver. -You are just looking at a heartbreak the longer you eat-it. I see this all the time and the company drivers that wear the "team colors" usually fare the worst. CRE-Fleece, JB, K-Night or whatever, there is no crying in trucking.

Your a driver for 2 years your still an apprentice yourself. 5 jobs in 4 years looks bad on the driver that is job hoping, He has not stayed long enough to know whats up. Most of the large companies give you back what you give to them. People tend to find what they are looking for. I get treated well because I show the company the same respect I expect in return, that does not mean I take there crap, but If I feel there wrong I'll bring it up then go back to work. This is trucking, and people tend to speak straight forward, I prefer that over the pat on the back, then the knife in the ribs. If this driver makes it 6 in 4 years no one else will hire him.

Face it our industry is filled by job hoppers. Each driver is always looking for that greener grass, and most jump at it when they see it. There will always be a company who will hire a driver with a clean enough record no matter how many times he has hopped.

I don't see any advantage of staying at CRE-Fleece for more than a few days and please leave before fleecing.

=it actually looks worse if you do stay. By staying you give these companies more power and overall it's a negative to the industry. =You are doing a disservice to your industry by propping-up the crappy companies.
