Songbird Enterprises is a trucking company located in Algood, Tn. They are one company that you do not want to work for. I worked for Songbird for three and a half years. The company has gone completely into the tank, due to the owner carrying about money more than his employees. The owner sat each employee down one at a time and told them if they are late one time, they are fired. This was even told to employees like myself that were NEVER late, not even once. Songbird is also firing drivers that refuse to run illegal. There registration is out on over half their fleet, and they still expect drivers to run their equiptment. The DOT has recently made several visits to this low life company. Songbird is going down, it's just a matter of time. You cannot treat employees like this, without it coming back on you. P.S. Don't even think about cashing your check on payday. Chances are, the funds are not in the bank. :biggrin_25516:

I have it on very good authority that Songbird is fixing to file bankruptcy, so get out now or you may not get your last few checks!

You are exactly right. The owner (who's name i won't mention) is really screwing over drivers. The DOT is onto them and their mistreatment of drivers. The way they treated myself was not right. That's why i am not there anymore.:biggrin_25516:

I have alot of friends that still work at Songbird. They think these lowlife's care about them and their families. They are so wrong. The drivers that i know that are still there, are making checks of $100 to $250 a week. They will run you out a few hundred miles, and then sit you for days. Then they expect you to drive illegal for them when they TELL you to. My wife went in the hospital when i was over in North Carolina, and they would not let me come home. I had to wait for a load!! I didn't get to my wife for almost two days. I will NEVER let another company do that to myself again. Never! The owner is being looked at for not paying workers comp, as well as unemployment. One driver i know of was FIRED for not running a truck with expired registration. He managed to get unemployment out of them, after an investigation by the Unemployment office. They are a joke, and i can't wait until they close the doors.:biggrin_25516:

Don't be posting replies on here, unless you are being serious. You never made that kind of money. You said you also made a million at SRT. Nobody wants to hear your nonsense. You are probably NOT even a driver.
