Wse,elm springs,ar driver beware

Has anyone out there driven for this company??i drove for them a few months, and had nothing but bad experiences.i can't really go into detail, not knowing who is actually reading these messages.

All i can say is if u are mistrated in any way by any company, do something about it.

These trucking companies get away with too much, and no one will stand up for their rights.

Well,i am.

Been without a job for a few months, but it will end up ok in the long run.

A truck driver with lots of experience shouldnt have to beg in church for money and food if they would have been treated right in the first place.

I know now that god will take care of us,but it still dont pay all the bills.

When u go from making 600.00 week to nothing per week,it hits hard.

I hope u understand what im trying to say,but cant really say what i need to say.

Another thing before im done,u just never know when it might be your last trip. Hold onto every penny you can, cause you just never know.

You might end up in the church begging for help with me.

Im serious.this company did this to me, and now i have no where to go,no truck to drive cause they made me dirt, and stomped on me.

What a place.

Cat

Of course, you were their star driver, right? Never damaged any equipment, late on a load, hassled dispatch, got into an accident or anything like that. I know, I know, all trucking companies want their best drivers out and gone. They would rather hire in new people and have to train them etc.

Now, come on, be honest. Are you sure you didn't turn down a few loads or run over a fire-hydrant or maybe get a 15 over speed ticket? Oh, I know, you forgot to set your unit at 32 on a meat load, and those rascals actually had the nerve to boot your ##### back to wherever you came from.

Does anyone on this website actually admit THEY screwed up to get fired? I notice it's always the $*&%#( trucking companies fault.

You guys need to lighten up on B2B123. Without knowing any of the details you are making assumptions as to this persons work performance and character. He may be vague in stating more details because he has read the warning about trucking companies reading this forum on a daily basis and he does not want to compromise a legal position.

If you have had nothing but great experiences as a driver then I applaud you. You are one of the fortunate drivers who obviously managed to hire on with a good and reputable company that values its employees. Not every driver is so fortunate. If they were this forum would not exist.

I am not a driver myself but being in the freight business I deal with drivers everyday and I know that a very large number of drivers have not shared your experience. I can only speak about drivers that I know personally. They are all hard working, dedicated individuals who do a great job...not because of the company they drive for but because they take pride in themselves and their personal work ethic. Being honest, dependable, and customer oriented is not enough for some of these companies. They still find ways to make life miserable for their drivers.

Think about this for a moment. If trucking companies were treating their drivers with respect, paying them well, and allowing them adequate home time would there really be a need for the large number of new driver orientations that are held across the country on a weekly basis? Advertising and training are expensive so why are so many trucking companies spending big bucks on these activities? Surely they are attracting and retaining only the best drivers. The simple truth is they are not treating their drivers well and they do not care.

For your sake I hope you never have a minor fender bender, are late on a load, or need to take extended home time. If you do encounter one of these situations be prepared to pay the consequences, and don't be surprised if it cost you your job.

If you think the complaints posted on this forum are unjust and reflect badly on the great trucking companies that are spread across the country then why not share with everyone the name of the trucking company that you work for. I'm sure a lot of the drivers on this forum will appreciate receiving the information.

Well if the info is true then who cares if he bad mouths the company. Maybe they can think about their attitudes. Most likely they won't. It amazes me that all these guys come on here and bad mouth their previous or present employers but they where the best driver for that company. They never did anything wrong? Yeah ok! Like you said you don't drive but work in the freight business. So you deal with drivers but you don't deal with the garbage we all put up with. You can only speak about the drivers you know. Of course all your friends are perfect and do a glorious job. Get back in the office and let this guy tell his story. If he is to afraid to say anything then don't bring the subject up!
