What a pig sty! How do you look at that mess, much live in something like that?

The dash? why is there crap on it? Why is the bed not made up? Why food on the floor (dill pickles) Why is the passenger seat so crowded with junk?
WHY does it look like a pig lives in that truck?

If it was my truck and you pulled into the yard with it in that condition , you would either clean it up or get out! And yes it's the lessors truck until it's paid for! Not yours.

And before you say it, yes I keep my truck SPOTLESS! Bed made up as soon as I roll out of it, clothes hung up and folded into their milk crates under the bunk, floor has nothing on it except for 2 thermos bottles against the passenger seat, and it's vacuumed every day, Laptop on a mount on passenger seat & secured. NOTHING on dash except cell and calculator on one of those non slip pads. and a suction cup note pad stuck to the windshield. No floating paper work flying around on the dash or floor! It's ALL in the paperwork folder so it doesn't get lost.

That interior from the looks of it if you had an accident crap would be flying all over that thing and you would get hurt by flying junk!

Yep, that's an embarrassment to the driver and to the company and DOT and police LOVE to see a junk pile like that as it means that the driver is lazy! Want to get a nice thorough inspection let them see a crap hole like that pull in! A police officer will want to search that hog wallow hoping to find an aspirin on the floor just to haul you in on!

There is NO excuse to drive and treat something that costs more than that house or trailer you live in and call home like that! And don't hand me that crapola excuse that you don't have time to clean! BS! you now get 10 hours of off duty time and if it was clean when you loaded all that junk in it when you were hired it takes only minutes a day to keep it clean! Yep even after coming back from the laundry after doing the wash!
And any of you who also have a truck you treat the same you are the same yoyo'a who wonder why we have no respect out here. There is one good reason there. You look like you want to live in a trash heap they treat you like trash!

It makes me wonder how you live at home too? Look at the truck you'll see the same at home! But the worst thing was you were going to put your grandson it there? ROFLMAO!

If I owned that truck and gave someone the opportunity to lease it, and potentially own it, and I saw it looking like that, that person would be GONE immediately, and the escrow would be used to pay for disenfectant.

These are interior pictures of the last International I drove. It had almost 1.5 million miles, and was a NC to California slip seat turn around truck. One team went to Ca and back, and the next team took it, and so forth. You may drive the same truck two trips in a row, or it may be months before you used the same truck again. This is how I left the trucks for the next driver. Notice a difference between this International and the almost new one in her pictures?

I would get down on my hands and knees scrubbing the floors before I went home. The truck was cleaned from top to bottom between the time I left and the time I returned. If only some of the drivers before me had the same courtesy.

If I could do this to a truck I may not drive again for months, it seems a person could clean their permanent truck at least once a month.
That is not dirt or stains on the floor. The beige coloring was worn off from use.

yes the company is making money off drivers from leasing the trucks and majority of the drivers here at making plenty of money themselves too. if they know how to run their truck they should clear 3400 miles a week avg and bring home avg 1200-1400 a week.. thats with a 750 fixed cost.. jct has the best l/p program out there to date, all you worry about is fuel for your truck as a variable expense. idk how that other driver ran, but if he talked to the right people he could probably gotten out of that truck alot sooner.. I've been at jct for 5 years now and not one bit of problem..had one truck with 7000 miles on it when i first signed on then traded it in 130k miles later..then got a brand new one that im about to pay off.. so we do have successful drivers over here, the ones that actually work and not sit at truck stops. Ive heard too many new drivers at the terminal complaining that they wouldn't wanna drive over 500 miles a day. well if thats the case don't complain you cant make any money then. anyways, imo jct is the better company out there compared to these other ones like, prime, stevens, swift, jb, schneider, werner, etc.

Sorry but you will never be successful with a $2400.00/ month truck payment on a truck with 500,000 miles on it and running for .90/mile. Do the math, i did the math in my previous post its not all that hard to figure out by the time you and in insurance, fuel, maintenance, there is no way your makin 12-1400/week

you need to do the math BEFORE you sign on to this. as for a dirty truck, there is no excuse that is your home! I had a company truck and I kept it clean at all times. my DM would come out once in awhile to TALK and look your truck over as he did and if your truck was a mess you cleaned it or you walked plain and simple that truck represents you AND the company anytime someone sees that truck they make a mebtal note and form an opinion.

wow!! i have seen a few knight trucks look like that at the yard's!! i'm sorry but i couldnt live like that. the only thing i have on my dash is my log book and thats only sometimes. i lay carpet ( even though its a company truck ) in the back and up around the passenger side of the truck just to make it feel a little like home..... that is just nasty:biggrin_25512:
