Jar of Pickles, label reads, "Refridgerate After Opening" I can't stand anything on the dash. Not just the I'm a pig look. I can't stand the reflections in the windshield.
And the soggy Washingtoner, what's wrong with y'all? You have something against southerners?
The pretty old truck pics bragging on being clean. There's a bunch of crud still around the shifter after you got detailing and picture taking. Ah, it looks good for that many miles. I have a hard time keeping my carpet clean. Everytime I go to our company shop they track grease in there. I usually shampoo it every 2 months. I have a good shampooer at home. I have a little one too I carry with me but it isn't worth a flip.bigtssa and scottied67 Thank this. -
I started taking pictures of the insides of the trucks because each team was supposed to clean out the trucks for the next team. Sometimes the shop would make a mess and the last driver would get blamed, or the next team would be dogs and blame their mess on the previous team. I figured a few pics were cheap insurance against a write up for leaving dirty trucks.
Now, if that had been my assigned truck, there would have been new carpet with nice mats on the floor, and a toothbrush would have been used to clean that baked on crap off the shifter boot.
My point was if we could keep a slip seat truck that almost never stops clean, she could have done much better than she did. It only takes a few minutes a day.bigtssa and scottied67 Thank this. -
Now lease purchases is a beginning step to becomming an owner operator. You r making an investment, advantage of lp instead of going out to get your own truck right from the start is in a lp u can walk away if you cant make things work out. The other way you will be ended up with a truck that you probably will have a hqrx time getting rid of and your losing money while in process of doing that.
Also you can say y become a l/o then and not stay a company driver. Like i said, as an l/o u have opportunity to expand your career after you paid off your truck.
So don't bash me about being smart or not. It's a good business decision in my opinion. If u think goingahead and buy your own trk from the get go is so good thengo ahead. All I mentioned on that, particular post you referred to is that being a lease operator isn't a bad thing if you find the right company to do it with.damonarnold816 and scottied67 Thank this. -
scottied67 Thanks this.

I'f I kept my truck in that condition I don't suppose I'd post any pictures of it! On the other hand there was about a 10 x 12 area on the floor that wasn't too bad.
scottied67 Thanks this.
