| Heartless heartland Ive worked at heartless for about a year, and nothing has changed.the first week i started i was in detroit sitting. i said to myself just give it a chance maybe it will change. Iam a regional out of jax supposed to run florida ga sc al and have 3 weekends out of the month off have paper work saying this! now i didnt expect ALL of this but i at least would want 4 days at home a MONTH.. this month i have been out 2 weeks going on 3 its july 3rd and iam in oh sitting with a load that doent pick up till monday.. this sux since on wendsday i was in fl 150 miles away from home.when i do get home it will be for a whole 34 hours. the samething happend thanksgiving this is just an example of the shizz they pull ALL the time and give the same ole explanation over and over again it gets old. hopefully i can find a local job or even go back to warehouse work because company drivers are being treated like #### not just here at heartland but everywere. and yea trucking isnt for sisies but iam no sisie iam just a honest hard worker that wants to be treated with some respect!p.s. I got home regular, was home every holiday, and took off for every family event. Took off when I wanted to. And made good money. Until I got greedy, and went OTR with the "big boys". I've put my time in with the big boys, and I'm back to the little guys to stay. No the pay isn't as good (I only brought home $681 this week). But by gawd I have a life again. I spoke with dispatch at 9am thursday, was asked to hold position for a load. Called again at 1pm, and asked if I could call it a week and go to the house. They deadheaded me 150 miles, to the house. Now things may change, if the economy worsens. Or we lose a major account. Until then, I'm gonna keep milking this cow. And eatin rainbow stew.

| Go ahead and go to tri-state.. if you enjoy hauling radioactive material and explosives, on the same trailer, then that's sounds like the place to be!! And your going to stevens BECAUSE they go to NY? My friend you must have hit your head on somthing. Wait till you get your load hijacked at a stoplight at 4 am in the Bronx, and the company holds you liable and takes it out of your paycheck. |
