Rumble Trucking

Rumble Trucking out of Deckerville or Port Sanilac Mi

Stay away from this company at all costs!!!!! They really stick it to drivers! they charge drivers for everything and I mean everything cellphones, logs, mileage to go home everything!!!!
I think the average paycheck is less then $500 a week. Mine was less. They tell you how good they are doing compared to other companies and a week later I get something in the mail saying they are dropping empty mileage pay from 30 cents a mile to 15 cents a mile. but yet they have money to go out and buy brand new satellites to track drivers so they can charge them out of route miles!
BTW they tell us not to run the turnpikes and then charge us the out of route miles for it also don't pay out of route miles to avoid the turnpike. this company is being looked at really hard by the DOT so hopefully they will go out of business soon.
the only decent thing about this company is the trucks do 70mph but then again right when I left there they told us they were cutting the trucks down

Man, did they at least kiss you before they screwed you that hard? I've never in my life heard of 15cpm, empty or not!!

Good job on getting out of there before it got worse.

yeah

I used to called up there and asked if I could get a reach around. I don't think 90% of them knew what I was talking about.

hmmm,
when I left there most of the trucks they had were broke down and they refused to have them fixed. Saying they didn't have the money.
If they have 05-06 trucks they are probably stolen or they tricked some drivers in to a lease program that would fail and took the trucks back from them.
The insurance they offered when I there was so crappy that we took my wife's insurance which is through Wal-mart.
As far as "all the miles you want"
They have all the miles they want you to have which is pretty much none.
They pull pretty much broker loads or loads to NY,NJ,MI,OH,KY,PA
I found myself getting stuck all the time in Florence, Ky on Friday and getting put on a load going to Cranbury NJ that had to be there Monday which is 600 miles.
They want you to avoid the toll roads putting another 60 miles or more on to the trip for free. They don't have ez-pass or Prepass and DOT looks at them hard.
I had a friend who worked there who got shutdown by the DOT every time they looked at him. He would call Rumble and tell him about the issues with the truck and they refused to fix them in tell DOT made them.
If you like sitting around, not making any money, pretty much being lied to or not being able to get a hold of them on the phone. This is the company for you.

They don't even look legitimate to me. The site looks like one of those 'design your own' scrub jobs where you put in your name and other various information and the site is automatically made for you.

Grats on getting out of that hole in the wall!! Sounds like a real peice of work.
