Delta Transport AKA John Perez and sons in northern california

Worked for these idiots for 2 seasons, they will screw you over when ever they get the chance. They do not tell you in advance how much you are making per load, they run you past the 16 hours HOS rules and when you break down on the side of the hiway at 12am they dont asnwer the phone!
They will expect you to work 20 hours a day 7 days a week and when you call in sick cause you need sleep, Val will fire you over the phone cause you didnt give him a notice!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How the #### do you give them a notice when you just left there sick and sleepless????????????????????????
Avoid this crappy little company like the plague, only peeps working there have multiple DUI'S or the lamers like me that didnt have any past experiance and didnt know any better!
Last loads I had from them took me 700 miles a day, 16+ hours and they only paid me $200 a day for this ####!

Dumptruck

That is very typical of "Intra" Ca carriers operating under the 100 air mile rule. Been there, done that, especially aggregates. They don't get it. What do you tell a cop when you are inspected during your 17th hour? 3 am start times and 9 pm end times are normal. Hey, but your home every night, right?

I also just found out that the 112 hour ag exemption is for 7 days, not 8 days like Val and Wendell claim!
They do not know or are making you go over your hours!
16 hours a day X 7 days = 112 but 16 hours a day x 8 is way over!
They fired me on my 8th day of 16 hours straight, LOL I was legally entitled to a break anyway!
Lets see if these peeople try to fight me for unemployment!

I went alot further then 100 air miles, walnut grove, ca to three rocks ca, look it up. and this is Agriculture hauling, they think rules dont apply but they still do, just the old rules and I think it should be changed.
16 hours on and 8 hours off but having to drive 1 hour each way everyday to work.
