Dumptruck Are Companies as bad as we make out

Just wanted to mention a few things regarding bad companies i read alot of complaints about various companies the question is how true are the comments for example i worked for a company in Logan Ut now i personally didn't have any issues with them however one driver had alot of complaints about them saying don't get a green card etch they had applied for tempory work visa's and about 20 of us got granted a H2b visa i was extreamly greatful for the opportunity to live and work in the USA and i found the employer very helpful and liked the service we got however a number of other drivers started with a company called Freymiller based in Oklahoma City OK with in 2 months all the aussie drivers had left so who do you beleive were they all whingers to have so many leave really defies beleif however i'm not one to judge well anyways thats my 10 cents worth but it does make you wonder who to beleive

How good or bad company is usually depends on ones perspective. If you can make a company's system work for you then you will have a favorable opinion and if not ..... well read on.

Crybaby "Fish" wouldn't know a "Good" Company
How could they possibly discern a "Bad" one ?

I find that every company has its cheerleaders and every company has its haters. Its about attitude and willing to work with the rules that are in place. If you can't, then find another company. This boasrd is full of pissed off drivers that think it should be done their way or its wrong. Sorry! If you are driving my truck and trailor that is worth $160,000, you will do it my way, simple to understand really. I am a driver and have moved around companies until I found one that works for me, miles, equipment, home time and pay. Did i drive for 'bad' companies? no, but I did find companies that were difficult to work for because of the way they expected things to get done. Just my 2cents.

It all depends on what your needs are. What works for one driver may not work for another. So each one will have a different view of the same company. And the more drivers the company has the greater the number of drivers that will complain about it IMHO.

Dumptruck

Hi thanks for all the posts wasn't sure what kind of response i'd get u know all us forign Australians taking jobs off you blokes nah just joking apperntly we were told there were over 300 000 trucking jobs available with no one to fill them so US companies can petition the Dept of Labour so they can apply to the USCIS for H2B tempory work visas seeing how nobody wants to do OTR and be away from MUM, anyways thanks "Dryver" and "Midsouth" i'm in agreement with your posts 100 % i think all companies are basically the same it just depends on what colour bonnet (hood) you want.

Cheers
Aussiejosh

It also varies by dispatcher. You could have a great company with one idiot dispatcher you get stuck with and have a horrible time. Or vice versa.

You could have the best dispatcher on the planet. Night crew is always going to suck. Same with load planners.
