Exclamation Usa truck a joke......stayaway

I am a trainer for usa truck, and let me tell you if you are going to drive a truck for the first time please do not come here, usa has really got much worse than in the past here recently. They will let you sit for days and pay you nothing, no dock detention, no layover, no distress and forget breakdown pay... I am kinda stuck here for now and as a trainer ..running as teams with a student driver i do good to average 34oo miles a week, usa says all the right things but does not abide by any of them, they are rude and careless with there drivers... I get ignored alot when trying to communicate with usa truck... So if your a student driver stay away from here...beware....this company is a joke and gets worse everyday...since our new ceo has taken over it has really been a bad time for the drivers we are now thought about last...i attended a driver advisory board and not one of the top dogs cared about what a driver had to say...new drivers go somewhere else ...you are nothing more than cheap labor to usa and they will starve you to death...my last couple students quit after getting there own truck and usa still after them for the cost of there school...how does a company expect a driver to survive thats new running 1700 miles a week ...my gosh....and dont get me started on our breakdown department ....i hope this saves someone from making a mistake by coming here...STUDENT DRIVERS CAN EXPECT 26 CENTS A WEEK IF YOUR NOT ON PER DIEM AND USA WILL TWIST YOUR ARM TO MAKE YOU TAKE PER DIEM..SO THAT PUTS YOU AT 24 CENTS A MILE ...YOU WILL BE DEDUCTED 45 A WEEK FOR YOUR SCHOOL AND 25 A WEEK FOR ESCROW..THATS 70 BUCKS A WEEK GONE ...YOU WILL BE REQUIRED TO SIGN A YEAR CONTRACT AND YOUR TOP PAY WILL BE 34 CENTS A MILE THATS 2 CENTS LESS FROM A YEAR AGO...THATS RIGHT YOU BEING PAID LESS THAN OTHER STUDENTS FROM A YEAR AGO ..2 CENTS A MILE LESS BUT CHARGED THE SAME ...THE ECONOMY MAY BE SLOW BUT USA WILL NOT GIVE YOU ANY BREAKS EVEN THO THEY HAVE DECREASED THE HIRE IN PAY FOR DRIVERS....AND STUDENTS IF YOUR TRAINER DOES NOT LIKE YOU ..GUESS WHAT...YOUR GONE ...THATS RIGHT ...ALL I GOT TO DO IS SAY YOUR NOT USA MATERIAL AND YOUR PUT ON A BUS ....BUT USA STILL WANTS THERE MONEY FROM YOU ... EVERYTHING HAS CHANGED HERE...I KNOW OF 2 STUDENTS WHO WERE LET GO BY THERE TRAINERS BECAUSE THE TRAINER DID NOT LIKE THEM NOT BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT DRIVE... AND USA SENT THEM HOME WITH A 6000 DOLLAR BILL FOR SCHOOL ...LOAD PLANNERS WILL GIVE THE MILES TO THE DRIVERS THEY KNOW AND LET YOU SIT...DO NOT BE FOOLED BY THIS COMPANY....REALLY THE RIGHT HAND DOES NOT KNOW WHAT THE LEFT HAND IS DOING HERE

Driver, don't sugar coat everything, tell us how it really is!! Just kidding, we keep hearing more stories like yours all the time. It's really sad. A so-so industry, being flushed down the crapper.......

I couldn't have said it better myself! I just finished my second week with them and I found out real quick how things go around there! My first weeks check was $187.00. I've never worked harder in my life. I have thought about quitting so many times in the last 2 weeks it's not even funny but that $6000 keeps me here and they know it. Perfect example- I picked up an 1100 mile load in Minneapolis thursday going to Richmond Va for monday and got a message on the qualcomm yesterday to drop it in Vandalia Ohio at the yard cause the del date was changed. Okay I high tail it to Ohio thinking I could get something at the yard for the weekend since the pay period ends monday so when I send in my mt call the weekend clueless says "why did you drop this? We aren't showing a drop?" So I spend hrs trying to call dispatch to get it straightened out and you guessed it, nobody will answer the phone so I send several messages over the qualcomm asking what the #### is going on? The LC finally gets back to me and says drop it. So here I sit in Vandalia where I can't get a shower or do laundry cause this terminal has no water rights in the city ! I will end up with about 1200 miles for the week cause of this #### so I believe someone owes me some compensation for this mix up! Think i'll get it?

The only difference between USA Truck and the plantation owners that had slaves some 150 years ago, the plantation owners fed the slaves.
