Kelle's (Dick Simon's kid)

I filled out an online application and was assured that I was hired by these folks and so turned my truck in at Hendrickson (another rip-off co,) when I called the next day to let them know that i was on my way I was told that they didn't have any trucks available and that they'd let me know when. Woulda been nice info to have before I quit my previous job.

Well one of Simons kids was in trouble when dick simon sold out cause he was selling stock in simon when there was no stock, if dick simon hadnt paid everything his kid would have been in prison for embezelment. It was his kids that ran his company in the ground not once but twice, real smart dudes there.

I am pretty sure that Jerrys daughter that owns Central is married to one of Simons kids.
And if you go down the road to enter the Central Terminal in SLC you will see Simon trucking across the street. It is a small LTL company I believe. So the family is still in trucking.

Dick Simon Trucking, Inc., where Kelle and so many of his employees got their start, was started by Kelle's father, Dick Simon in 1972. What began as a one-man route in 1963, grew to more than 850 tractor-trailers, 920 drivers, and a market cap of $38 million. Kelle Simon has duplicated his father's success and for all the same reasons. When he started, all he wanted to be was a driver. As he added drivers he expanded his business into one of the fastest growing and most reliable in the industry.
