    How long ago was this? I trained on the DG account with USX and there was no floor loaded freight it was all in roll-tainers and I thought the unloading was cake to get injured pushing roll-tainers a person would have to be a complete moron. Also the USX DG guys I got to know were all taking home 900+ a week. The only part that sucked was the driving all day after unloading I didn't like that, but I never even got a little bit winded from the unloading. Then again I would rather drive 200 miles a day and fingerprint every box on a trailer than drive 500-600 miles a day. Different strokes.

    I have never worked for hogan, however I know 3 members of the same family who work for the ciato div. You get worked to death, its like any other company they all dont make sense. But from direct feedback I heard you will make money if you hustle. Maybe people are afraid of hard work I dunno. I wont personally run there due to automatic semis.

    At Hogan plan on;
    being lied to on a daily basis
    working 6 days a week
    working 70+ hrs in those 6 days
    working with sub par equipment
    no teamwork (watch your back)

    This company does not care about the drivers one bit. You will only make their said .3625 cent per mile if you can keep your safety status and you are given over the min. miles for each day. Meaning, if you do not drive the min. miles per day you only make base pay. Price per mile is if you retain 'safety' status and they can take that away for say something as simple as locking the key in the truck.
    Never pay for anything out of your own pocket. They will tell you to just turn in the receipt but some how that receipt gets lost and you never receive your money back.
    Also watch that sign on bonus. They say you will receive it but come pay time and it is not there - you ask them about it and you will hear, ' that was for a different division'.
    I to was/ have been lied to since day one. If you plan on working for Hogan, plan on being treated like an unwanted stepchild. Working long hrs and payed little.
    I must say you will be home every day/night - well mostly. But it will only to get a couple hrs sleep and head back into work.

    I can vouch for Hogan as a bad company , worked for them many years ago . I hauled every load they needed out of Albany NY , ran my butt off , then I tore my rotor cuff pulling the fith wheel pin. Got sum x rays showed the tear, wanted me to still work , I refused to, I went out on Comp and refused to pay my comp for 2 months . then Fired me said I quit . Got an attorney and they were found in the wrong . Got huge back pay and have moved on ..

    I drove for Hogan about 5 or 6 years ago. The problem I had with them were "MILES" and the policy of calling into safety line if you were planning to drive after midnight. My DM was a nice guy but excuse my language, he had no balls for his drivers on his board. I kept stressing to him that I need miles to make money and quit letting the load planners run over you dude, well that motivational speech didn't help any! When Hurricane Rita (I believe, not sure) hit the town I lived in, they did provided me a load home to make sure I was able to evacuated my family.

    Long story short, during my brief time with them, veteran drivers that had years with the company were already saying that Hogan is slowly going down hill future didn't look bright at all and as sure as I am Catholic they were right! Ladies and Gentleman if you are going to consider a position at Hogan, you might want to try their Fred's Dedicated account, you "MIGHT" have some luck but don't hold me to it.

    If anyone as a different view on Hogan, please let the rest of us know and explain.
