I just left the employment of Hogan Transport. I do not believe that I have ever worked for a more morally courrpt company in my entire driving career. I was lied to from day one and just lied to today. I hope that someone will read this and stay away from Hogan. They do not deserve to have good, hard working drivers working for them. STAY AWAY FROM HOGAN.

    Beechvtail Thanks this.

Or are you a drive-by? Make one post bashing a company picked at random and move on?

Any company in any "right to work" state can do that anyway, don't need to sign anything.

It's called "at will" employment, and it's pretty common - especially in the south.

There are still plenty of ways to "force" a driver to quit though - probably some specifics would lend some credibility.

could be right" about that...? I know for sure; that the Driver's who supply EVERYTHING" in this Nation should NOT" be treated as we are! more often than not. But such" is our lot. I guess; we just keep on" keepin on.

I just moved on from a bad company. I realize though that for the most part it is all in what you make of it. Two negatives never make a positive. They were negative and so was I. Not much good can come from that. I start a new position Monday. I will work on being positive.

I am getting ready to go to orientation for hogan. The recruiters seem very helpful and truthful. I used to drive for CRST Van Expedited and am sure Hogan will be a great change for me! I am looking forward to orientation. If any current drivers for hogan can tell me what its like and if they stick to their word it would be much appreciated. Also any truckers that are young guys just getting started out like me that have a young family that just want to talk that would be great as well. Thanks... Bulldog

Also as a newbie trucker.. Starting out at .28-.29 cents per mile is PURE HEAVEN to me and my family compared to what I would be making in a regular job back home...

Thats one of the problems in trucking today. Companies can hire someone like you at .29 cpm and you think its good money. The last time I worked for that kind of chump change was like 1990.

From time to time I call around just to see what companies start out at and am amazed at the low wages these people are offering. Then they get insulted when I tell them I can't work for those kind of wages. They insult me with those kind of wages.
