I know 90% of posts will be negative, I frequent the truckstops here at home and you can here the same sort of talk there that you do on here. I believe it comes with the territory, Do you blame them? After driving 500-600 miles anyone would be a little cranky. I drove 500 miles yesterday in my car and had to compose my self from getting negative (very hard to do). GO NAVY! :)

    Fyr Thanks this.

They still do the dumb and dumber teams for training smallhaul? I still laugh my #$$ off to sleep sometimes thinking about the guy I was paired up with 10 years ago. I only lasted about a year until my experiance took me other places. Good luck.

    Fyr and smallhauls1 Thank this.

    Attract attention?
    By Golly, it sure did.
'Bout gave me a heart attack.

So, you're headed for Salt Lick City for some CRE hospitality, eah?
What can I say that isn't already too late to say it?
Good luck and best of success, SmallHauls.

I reckon Sierra Hotel India Tango is the military version. In the shipping industry it's
    Ship High In Transit.
    It's twue!
    It's twue!

Once it was discovered that bovine excrement creates methane gas when it gets wet, fewer ships on the Great Lakes disappeared.
It seems -- back in the day -- a deck hand checked the cargo holds below decks during night rounds. The light to see came from a lantern.
    Flame and gas meet.
    Ka-Blooie!

From then on when shippin' that 'stuff', it was labeled Ship High In Transit,
    and for good reason.

That's the origin of that word. :yes2557:

Haven't rode the "GreyHound" in years. haha, lets see how 16 hours in the bus turns out. CR England uses the 9 & 10 speed transmission, can anyone let me know there experiences with these speeds.??

    9 speeds....Go's 62 MPH! 10 speeds....Go's 62 MPH.

They're both easy to shift....So easy in fact that even an England driver could drive them.
Either way you look at it it's a slow ride to the poor house!

    smallhauls1 Thanks this.

    Thanks!,
So the speeds are governed to 62 mph??, I am a cautious driver anyhow. Slower the speed the shorter braking distance..I am wondering also if driving 62 mph is better for the team member who is sleeping... As far as the 9 & 10 transmission speeds, I was wondering is the 10 speed also the same as the "Super 10" transmission shifting.?? I saw on Youtube that they seem to be different or may be that the guy shifting on youtube is starting in 3rd gear and is throwing me off.??

    Fyr Thanks this.
