Doored, I've researched a lot of companies and Swift is not one of the bad ones.
One thing though, if you get a NASTY, CRAZY, mentor WASTE NO TIME reporting his or HER ### AND GETTING OFF THAT truck because that is a weak link of them. SO DON'T go broke into training and be able to get off that truck at a moment's notice.

Absolutely get off if you have a flaky mentor. They will give you a phone number to call. put it in your phone and if you see ANYTHING that makes you nervous CALL ! which terminal are planning to go out of ? If it's Ok city I may be able to recommend someone.

It is not by proximity, it has to do with regulations... I live in SLC, UT and I would have to go to Phoenix instead of Idaho which would be around the corner.
PHOENIX!!! Sigh!!

Talked to a Swift recruiter a few months ago when I was in school. He said they were bringing down their 180 percent turnover rate. Yes, he actually said 180 percent.
