You can get a chicken at Graphics International in Lumberton NC. Now be patient as it may take them a full day or more to get that chicken loaded for ya.

The nonsense going on out there is incredible which is why I barely turn the CB on unless I need directions, or to find out the status of a brake check that's holding up traffic.
I'm not sure what satisfaction people get from putting others down, maybe its just ignorance and they can't help it. :biggrin_25516:

    I agree with you.

I rarely have my cb turned on.

CB radios provide little useful information and seem to be mostly used by bored children.

I heard a couple ####y drivers putting down anyone who dared share the airwaves with them a couple weeks ago. A rookie got on the CB and they asked him what he did before becoming a driver. Innocent enough, he said that he had been a Tool & Diemaker - skilled trades.

Oh boy - the ####y drivers circled him like sharks on a wounded fish. "But of course", they opined, "You must not have been very good at it, because now you're just a truck driver".

Sheesh! With that opinion, none of us were ever anything else and we'll never be anything else - and oh-by-the-way, we aren't much at all because we're just truck drivers.

Needless to say, I don't tend to hang out with such self depreciating low-lifes.

And by the way, I am a retired Tool & Diemaker myself.
