I dislike Newark, NJ above all northeastern places.
-
My favorite state is CO on the front range, worst is NYC/NJ Eastern PA.
-
Indiana is my favorite, never liked Virginia for some reason.
-
Least favorite, Detroit metro and E. Pa. Favorite, Rt. 205 from Denio, Nv. to Burns, Or. Love that 17% grade sign at FrenchGlenn.
-
The northeast corridor is my least favorite area to drive. Out of 48 states and Canada New York city is the one place I hate to go. The I-70 west of Denver, Colorado is the worst mountain pass I've ever been on. I can't imagine driving it when it's icy. I probably don't have a favorite state. Each has it's own pluses and minuses.

As for my close call, I took my eyes off the road for one split second to change the radio station. Now whenever I drive through there I shut off anything that might distract me until I get down the range and into the foothills.RayT70 Thanks this. -
As a Michigan resident, I will be the first to say the roads here are terrible. If you take 75 North into Detroit, you and your truck will never be the same.
AZ is nice but the Phoenix Metro traffic is insane. I love running 40 through Texas... probably the easiest driving you'll ever do. Gotta love a state with an 80mph speed limit.Abra Thanks this.
