I am really enjoying you folks conversation... this is truly funny entertainment...

 

This is were we - myself and 4 other fellow co. drivers - were parked last night...



at the university campus in Hackensack, NJ...

It was nice to meet other fellow co. drivers... as Mr. Iron calls them, the "old geezers"... Most of them are former military folks with over 20 hrs trucking experience... And extra nice gentlemen...

Met other folks this morning... event sponsor, our co. rep., event organizers, photographers and other folks... and after a session of pictures, we split... one of the trucks and I went to another location for our delivery... the other trucks went somewhere else for their deliveries...

We had a "escort" vehicle guiding us... although I knew where we were supposed to go, the escort gentleman wanted to make sure that we got there without problem...

The street with "DO NOT ENTER" signs is where we had to enter to get to tinny parking lot where we delivered the load...




All streets were narrow, with a lot of traffic + vehicles parked on both sides of the street and very tight sharp turns... + low branches...

After delivery, escort gentleman guided us to major highway... We were going to take truck route but he said there was a "better" way... which was not restricted for trucks.... Yeah... right... my gps kept showing me one restriction after another... all the way to the highway... and we had to follow him at 15 mph...

Now I am conveniently parked, sound and safe at this service plaza... about 20 miles from my next pick up Monday...

Not that I know anything except it's Jersey.....
